Gamestop lists You Don't Know Jack as a Kinect-compatible title
28
Remember the difficult keyboard-sharing procedures you and your friends had to adopt when playing the original You Don't Know Jack with three players? If the
GameStop listing
for the upcoming entry into the trivia franchise is correct, you won't have to keep in such close proximity this time around -- the game is mentioned under a GameStop splash page in a list of Kinect-compatible games.
We've contacted THQ to find out if the retailer's listing is on the level, and if so, what kind of gestures the game will be able to recognize. Most importantly, we need to know if it's going to work with the Game Boat. Otherwise, what's the point?
[Thanks, Exnihilio13!]

@Robborboy It'll run you $150 to sign up. You willing to drop that much just so you can wave your arms everywhere and yell answers/voice commands? Come on, you clearly Don't Know Jack.

Should I be glad I've never heard of this game before?

@NathanDTS Don't worry your hardly alone, I didn't really bother with it above and beyond acknowledging its some quiz game.
If quiz games are not your thing (as they are not mine) then your not really missing much. As to them adding Kinect support ...... that's wonderful I guess (see apathy) I mean its not really a bad thing.

Yep, you just have to spin your head around to trigger it.

I wonder if it'll be compatible with the Scene-It buzzer controllers?

I suddenly feel A LOT better about my Kinect pre-order (though, to be fair, I've been pretty confident after playing it at PAX).

What's up with the weird, misshapen, uncanny valley offending image?
I remember it looking far more... normal.

Ah YDKJ. I'm actually listed in the credits for the first two games for additional art production. Did an internship at Berkeley Systems in high school. They had a break room with a slide, a mortal combat arcade machine and all the free soda you could drink. Good times.
