Why the hell would you copy any Sony campaign that doesn't have Kevin Butler in it?

So you're saying they need to make a Kevin Butler Saw commercial? I could get behind that.

True, but if the next Saw ad features a lady taking a crap on the commode, then I think Sony's got a real lawsuit.

FYI, you can link to a certain time in a youtube video by adding, in your case, "&t=2m27s" to the end of the URL.

Here's your link:

The old Kotaku piece only noted the eyeball poster. The point of the source article, if you followed it, would show that now a second poster has been identified as looking like an old Sony ad. So yes, this is old news, but it's also appears to be new news because of the second poster. The source article also links the Kotaku story.

The way people complain about things posted late, its a wonder none of you have a successful gaming blogging site of your own with all the bitching you do about this one :D Yeesh. Take it or leave it, I'm guessing you live in democratic countries, if you don't like the length of time some articles take to release, then go elsewhere, freedom is a wonderful thing :D

Reading Joystiq over Kotaku is well-worth the fact that Joystiq is generally late on some less significant content.

You don't have to be a website fanboy to see that that statement was rather silly ¬_¬ It's just logic, Joystiq can't post everything at the same time, 1. Some tips come in late, 2. Some aren't high priority and 3. Some are posted on every gaming site so it makes little or no sense reposting the same stuff.

There are people like myself who don't even bother reading Kotaku, because we have our selection of gaming sites to visit for all our gaming needs. Besides, the way you pointed this topic out as late, anyone would think it was crucial information that NEEDED to be posted on all sites at the same time... when it really isn't.

@Speegold

The reason why Joystiq is usually late is simple. Joystiq doesn't spend 30% of it's time with repeating news stories, 20% of it's time copy pasta'ing press releases, 15% of it's time posting about anytime someone says anything remotely like the word "Game" or covering a vast majority of irrelevant weeaboo shit, 15% of it's time baiting flame wars by misquoting or misrepresenting what was actually said, 15% of it's time posting every little thing someone mentions somewhere as a rumor despite every single spider sense anyone over 10 can tell is false, or the last 5% of their time acting like whiny little children when they do get caught up for being quick to post, slow to think (Xbox Pure).

In other words, Joystiq is one of the few sites that actually CARES about what they post. So they take the extra time to reach for comment or put in some quality writing. Kotaku = TMZ of gaming. If you like a website run by gossiping little undersexed children, Kotaku is that way and I'd thank you not to return here.

It's all part of the marketing plot. Saw 3D will feature a sequence where one person is forced to play through Demon's Souls on a PS3 without dying or else a grenade will explode... in his ass.

If someone thinks something is crap, do they always have to say "in my opinion"? No. You should be smart enough to figure out that it's their opinion.

True, which is straight on the railway express to downvote and being completly disregarded. I personally do not care much about the 'in my opinion' crap unless its a blank statement.....which that was....and has little relevance or justification.

While we are on that train track, lets talk about you being a hypocrite, considering you are basically acting as the speech police now telling someone else what not to say ¬_¬

Silly Saw marketing team, you don't make Saw scary or thrilling by copying the good Sony adverts, you have to copy the bad ones. I say, more creepy doll babies going 'ga ga' and floating controllers or such. Now THAT is marketing! :D
