Good to hear, I enjoyed DR2 a lot though I'd still give the edge to the first game. Can't wait to see a DR3 an to see what's next for capcom Vancouver

I don't get reporting shipped numbers. Since they aren't a direct retailer, they can ship all they want but it's not a 1:1 to actual sales.

Don't the companies still pay for the games that are shipped to them, though? Hell, you would think I knew the answer to this but I am oblivious to everything. :(

Yeah the name leaves something to be desired. Why not make it simply Capcom Vancouver? Same message, less BS

Well earned. I was pleasantly surprised with DR2, compared to my dislike of DR1. They managed to keep the premise the same, which is an awesome premise, but to polish the edges (a la difficulty, saves, and gun control).

why capcom waited so long for DR2 ill never know. DR is a great IP and should have a new DR every Halloween ;)

@dblue An annual Dead Rising would kill the franchise the same way Guitar Hero has been killed. They wouldn't have enough time to work on things so it would end up being practically the same game.

Kind of sucks that they rename their studios. Reminds me of Irrational, how they went there and back again. A "real" name adds some tangibility to the product; Capcom "Location" doesn't.

Except Blue Castle is in Vancouver and there are no White Castles in Canada, so the correlation is non-existent.

That doesn't mean your brain can't relate the two. You see Blue Castle when you load up Dead Rising, you think White Castle. Where the dev is located doesn't really matter.

I guess that's okay... although I don't think Blue Castle is such a great studio. I mean, DR2 is pretty fun and all, but it has almost the same technical flaws the original had, like... 4 years ago. Most other developers have already evolved into better programming practices.

Bleh. Studio renaming is garbage. How about paint all of the walls gray and give the employees barcodes and uniforms too?
