Yeah it is kinda weird that there haven't been any reviews of Kinect and it is out today.

I believe the embargo is until tonight. When you wake up in the morning, expect to be flooded with Kinect reviews everywhere.

I can give you early reviews: 6's all over the board.
Dance Central may get an 8.
Sonic might even get a lower score (4?), will just have to see.

I base this on nothing but my gut.

My gut is very intuitive; and rarely wrong. I'm like Sherlock Holmes but with video games instead of people.

Someone should pay me for my skills... oh well.

Either way, Adventures will probably keep me tied up until there is a good sale on these, or Steel Battalion/Child of Eden comes out.

@Milkman4321 Joyride being free was canceled AGES ago. And personally, with how fun it is on Kinect, I am willing to pay for it.

All aboard the hype train for pretty games with wonky control!! Give your Grandparents a jolt of energy as they attempt to kick and flail at bubbles, balls and blocks...

Xbox isn't strong enough for the potential folks imagine* with Kinect. Don't expect your favorite Shooter or sports game to be available anytime soon. Nice how MS is practically forcing it down Xbox owners throats.

Yes yes, downvote, name one title(upcoming even) worth buying that is not fleeting* like Kinect Sports? How much Kinect Sports can one gargle? Besides the fitness thing or, if you are a dancing fool. Only 2 titles thus far...

Is it ironic that you started that comment with "Name one title that is not fleeting" and ended it with naming & conceding at least two? I'll have to check wikipedia...

I don't think MS does the "free" thing anymore. Remember 1vs100? I'm sure it will be back in some sort of "pay for" manner.

Kinect Adventure is the bundle free game with Kinect now. Not a bad game mind you but Joyride was indeed a bit more fun.

Still suprised they didn't went with Kinect sports as the bundled game as it looked more like the obvious fun. I had a lot of fun with it and my son.

@PR0F3TA You're right, of course, and I am somewhat fueled by envy, but just once I'd like to see someone hold an event like this in, say, Sheboygan. I wonder if they might even get more press by pulling a stunt like that.

From a marketing standpoint they are. Of course i don't mean they are forcing anyone to buy it, thats absurd. All slim systems are clearly labled "Kinect ready"; the new dashboard is laden with Kinect media, tutorials and the like.

Yes i am biased in my rants due to the fact i am not a shareholder/ decision maker in ANY of these gaming companies therfore i remain indifferent to sale & console war babble(unless trolling out of boredom). When this current iteration aka monstrosity can churn out games like Mass Effect, a popular Sports title, platform etc. and is embraced by the majority, then i can sulk holding my controller OR keyboard remembering the good ole days.

I still don't get the "forcing you" comment. I mean, it's not because they said "kinect ready" on a box that it means it's a requirements. It's like these new 3D TV. most of them are "3D ready" and require glasses but most people don't care about 3D and still buy those Tv (because they happen to be great 2D TV as well).

Kinect is required for Kinect games only. The day it's required to play almost all games, which I highly doubts and will not happen this generation, then maybe we can discuss this further.

I agree with the Joy Ride fiasco... I would had enjoyed it as a free download, may had even bought some of the add-on content if it was released like that. But when I get Kinect (I'm now 80% sure I will get it at some time) I won't be even considering paying for Joy Ride. I have no interest in a driving game on this style of control, to me it seams silly. Though I will say, if I could get these (or any) two titles for free if I bought a Kinect on launch day... I easily would jump on the bandwagon to do so.

I played Kinect Joy Ride at PAX. You'd have to pay me to take a copy of that. Racing games aren't meant for that kind of control scheme.

Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Dance Central were all really fun. Looking forward to getting my copies later this week.
