...but I could not finish watching the trailer because that guy was annoying the hell out of me just watching him.

I'll need to hit up my relatives to see if I can get a Korean SSN so I can play this game. (In order to play Korean MMO's you need a Korean SSN to prove your Korean and what not).
Although I don't see this as a fruitful endeavor for me...

The game looks awesome. I reckoned this will be like grandchase or maplestory like seeing as it is an MMO and a platformer. I hope this be released and localized in english soon. Yeah, I'm a sucker for mega man games. So, Mega Man + grinding = LOL epic addiction FTW!

@Tyrax I've played a good chunk of X7 and a bit of X8. X7 was horrible. It had several awkward 3D movement sections that just didn't feel like Mega Man. I constantly felt like everything I did wrong was because of poor design mechanics rather than how I was playing.
As for X8, what I play of it seemed like it was trying to go back to form. I actually want to play it more, but haven't had time.

As a Megaman and Megaman X fan, I'm pretty darn happy they are keeping this style, actually it's fun to see both Megaman and X enemies.
As for the game itself, I just wish it keeps the fast paced X style of gameplay, back in the SNES, it was quite pleasant to fly through the stages dashing and dash jumping while firing bullets at a very high rate, but it's hard to tell if it will be like that because .. well you saw it, even my granny can play faster and better.
but from what I saw, the rate of firing is screwed, the dash is way too fast and short, and i hope he didn't dash jumped... if he did, i'd be dissapointed ):

Looks like Mega Man X, without any of the challenge. I hope that's just because it's a development build still... The difficulty is half the fun of Mega Man.

I think it looks awesome. The remodeling of the X and Classic characters look great and the gameplay, if pulled off with an interesting leveling/exploration system, could be really addictive. I hope you can make your own reploid so there aren't 1000 Xs and Zeros running around.
Not that I'll ever get a chance to actually play it...

While you're not X/Zero/etc., you're also not quite an original robot/Reploid. Essentially, your playable character is a customizable copy "class". So far, the released "classes" are X-type, Zero-type, and Duo-type.

Now imagine if megaman went this route instead of X4-X8, The brand would be making much more money. I'm not talking about going MMO, but instead of trying make the same game, make one that has many different attack abilities (like this, but a single player game) and armors and add tons of it so you can't get it all on the first play through, i.e. Re-playability.
Like a 2D megaman legends, but less RPG elements and more badass elements

The only chance you will have of playing this game is waiting for it to come out in Korea, and then hoping someone in America makes a private translated server for it. Otherwise you are shit out of luck

I bet it plays somewhat like Maple Story, Wonder King, etc. What they were showing in the gameplay videos were most likely instances (hence why you didn't see anyone else who maybe playing online).
it's looking pretty decent looks to be more forgiving than usual Mega Man games.
I do hope that it - along with Dragonball and Grandia - does come to Europe (or have worldwide servers).
