Red Dead Redemption soundtrack now available on 'blazing red' vinyl

Your record collection is looking a little ... rough around the edges. Don't get us wrong, we think it's great that someone out there owns the soundtrack to Men in Black on vinyl, and also, oh, is that Spin Doctors' "Homebelly Groove Live?" Nice. That's a ... classic. And wow! That's a lot of Michael Bolton. Listen, this is an intervention: You need to class up your act, which you might be able to do with the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack ... now on vinyl!

The "blazing red" record is available from the "Rockstar Warehouse" for $15 and features all the music from the game, including Jose Gonzalez's haunting mid-game tune, "Far Away." That's a track that's just begging to be mashed-up by a solid DJ ... or just any old DJ, really.

What is this 'vinyl' you speak of? Do you download it?

Actually, most records today come with a free MP3 download link. I bought a Man or Astro-Man? album last week that had one.

You make a good point, but were you buying new releases? Because obviously nothing more than 3 years old would have them.

MoA-M? was obviously a reprint, so it was extra cool they remembered to include a download voucher. I've got two other new releases over the past couple years that have had them (I don't buy all that much, I'm not a crazy person).

Ironically, Radiohead's In Ranbows did not have one!

I've seen no signs of that. I definitely wouldn't call it common as virtually no one even owns a record player these day.

I've bought about 12 or 12 new releases on vinyl in the past 2 years and apart from LCD Soundsystem and maybe one or two more they all came with download codes.

The best vinyl I own still has to be Kalafut & Fygle - Novocaine with the Mark Otten Remix. Not only does it contain my favorite musical work ever done, it also visually looks sweet too! The energy pattern that the Mark Otten Remix creates on the vinyl is beautiful.

Going to say the same, I have The Widow/Francis the Mute (single) in a cool light green color.

Purchased. I was waiting for undergroundhiphop to get it in (they have a date of 11/22). It is surprisingly cheaper to get it from Rockstar. UGHH has it listed for $20. I hope I get this in the mail on my day off, otherwise I'm taking the day off.

Are any of the songs from the Undead DLC included? I really just want to know one of the song titles from the end of one of the last missions.

The soundtrack was a bit sparse for me, which I'm sure was intended by the creators. I did enjoy Far Away, though. Epic ride through the snowy mountains.

Most of the time I just played custom music I picked from various westerns. I wish more games allowed you to do that.

Finally! Hipsters will now be able to listen to this awesome soundtrack.

Wow. It's like a physical version of an MP3. I don't know when I would use it, but it still seems like a pretty neat achievement.

Ordered. I don't even have a turntable, though I do plan on getting one after finding a local used books store with hundreds of albums for anywhere from $2-$15. Until then, this will proudly be displayed for all to see.
