The price to make one of the lightcycle riders' suits in the actual movie was around $60,000.

Unless you mean those replica suits, good luck.

You drive around on that thing long enough and you'll attract all kinds of Olivia Wildes.

Boooooring!

I wanna see it pick up some speed dammit!

Looks like you need a long body to feel properly in control of the thing but still, a masterpiece for sure.

Looks the NUTS!

It almost seems like the thing doesn't go faster than 5 mph....plus b/c of the geometry, even looks terribly uncomfortable to ride.

Well I called BS on them being able to make it for 55k or make it at all, so props for that.

I'll still say that the way they designed it you would not want to ride it for more than 10 minutes, as you're almost in a splayed push-up while driving

It looks awesome but then watching them ride it looks uncomfortable, I own a gsxr 700 and love it but I dunno about the laying flat like that for any length of time. Also would like to see them get to some reasonable speeds on it.

I like the thought of having a tron bike, but there are some things in this world that shouldn't be replicated. This "Looks" proportionally wrong (not saying it isn't, just going by looks), it's like they need to shorten it some.

Is it just me, or does it look like the motorcycle in the latest Batman movie? Maybe with some fabrication changed.

Anyway, it doesn't look quite right, but it looks pretty cool to me.

That's part of why tron worked. Things in it only make sense in a completely different kind of world from our own.

Take just about anything from tron into the real world and it's the lamest cosplay ever. Their death frisbees and leotards are not actually cool.

I don't think it matters if freakin' DEATH FRISBEES are cool or not. "Oh, I apologize for my unstylish causation of your fashion-victim death. Maybe they'll host your obit on 'How Not To Die'. "

Right. Very cool concept; very lame video. If that's all they can do with the thing, maybe it's not really roadworthy.

That is sweet. Really, do want. Especially with this anticipation of Tron: Legacy flowing through me.

Would be cool if they had a light effect beaming out of the back. And the vehicle should be glowing in some areas.

You know as much as I thought it would have been cool to ride one in real life I now realize that I'd have more fun just riding them in a game. Hell a light cycle flash game would be more fun that trying to ride that,

The official Tron Legacy site has a bunch of Unity Engine-based flash games, including ye olde lightcycles: http://disney.go.com/tron/index_flash.html.

Although both Unity and Flash have browser plugins, they are in no way related. Unity isn't a 3D engine running whithin Flash, it is a totally different application.

Owning a light cycle means don't drive it during the light cycle because you're going to be making your own light cycle.
