I wonder if 3-on-3 NHL is any good. I've got a pile of XBLA games, so even spending 200 points now has to be on something that I'll actually play.

I liked both of these games. Both these games had problems but are still fun.

Polar Panic - controls were kinda bad for the action levels. The puzzle levels got insanely hard in the end.

3 on 3 NHL - This game is a blast but you can basically get everything you want out of the game's demo. There are too many ways to break the game but still a lot of fun.

NHL Arcade is tons of fun. It's basically like a cartoon version of EA's usual NHL franchise, with things like powerups, the ability to check a player over the boards, and of course no penalties.

thanks picked this game up. sounds like a game i used to play on the nintendo 64 named wayne gretzky's 3d hockey 98. if its anything like that then its the nfl blitz of hockey.

i remember reading somewhere that EA was going to pull the online play on the NHL 3 on 3, makes me wonder why they would put it on sale for so cheap.

200 points for NHL Arcade? How can you even consider not buying it for that price if you're a hockey fan. It is good, simple fun. Don't expect something serious, this is even less serious than NBA Jam, but it is so fun. I bought it day one and still pick it up once in a while. A ton of fun with friends too!
