I'd love to purchase this game, but I'm unsure if it will run on my 1st generation ipod touch. Anyone able to shed some light?

@Raske I think it's 2nd gen and above. 3rd and 4th will surely run it.

@Raske Nope, it's 3rd gen up. Sucks cause I have a 2nd gen iTouch.

At least I have an iPad to play it on. It's a great game!

@Raske Unfortunately it won’t. I believe its iPod 3Gs and third generation iPod and up. My second generation iPod touch said I needed a more recent device to play it.

@Raske, absolutely not. iPod Touch 3 (16g & 32g) and above.

i think the gen1 iPod touch only has 128mb of memory.

I don't understand why this game needs multiplayer.

@snowtires

"I don't understand why this game needs multiplayer."

Pretty much can be said for 70% of all games on Xbox.

I get it that they created Xbox Live but damn

@snowtires What do you mean, "needs"? No game *needs* multiplayer, but it's often really awesome, especially in games like this. Such refined combat controls are going to make a great multiplayer mode.

this game would work great with kinect. developers should look towards some of these ios games for kinect, instead of just trying to adapt old game formats to a new kind of input. Kinect needs new ideas not just old games, with kinect controls slapped on (harry potter). plus can you imagine slashing, diving and casting spells with a 1080p tv vs. the iphone's screen. Awesome.

The funny thing is, i'm not much of an Apple fan, yet when games like these come out - I ensure that my iOS friends download the apps. I do the same with PlayStation games.

Great games deserve to be bought, no matter what platform they're on.

@BlackedOut Yeah, exclusivity sucks. That said, if WM7 uses DirectX, I can see MS making big inroads in this market. DirectX saved PC gaming many many years ago, and it is a large part of the success of the Xbox. I'll go on to say the Xbox has probably saved PC gaming, or led to help it see a strong resurgence. Developing once for two systems is a dream come true for devs.

I am going to have to wait until I get the iPhone 5 when it comes out. Stuck on the old 3G still.. Honestly though, how easily playable is this game?

@Prince David

This game is very easy to play. You can tell it is designed for a touch screen, and doesn't try to be more than that. You press a button to dodge or block, and swipe your finger across the screen to swing your sword. That's all there is to it.

So is it just me or do you stop gaining XP if you're using all mastered items? I've mastered all the items in the game and my level bar doesn't appear to be moving anymore.

I really want to know if they are able to do anything about the cheating on the leaderboards on GameCenter. If you look at the Levels on there, people have hacked their accounts to be level 2 billion or something. It's ridiculous. Not sure if this is something Apple has to deal with or Chair's responsibility.

@Beanie I think it's jailbreak users who've hacked their Game Center accounts, so Apple can't do much about it.

@TheGreatBug Yeah, I'm aware that it is jailbreakers, but there has to be something on the server side to prevent this.

If we do update, do we still have to fight our way to master all the armour and swords etc then? It took me forever to die and save up and sell good weapons and stuff just to buy the infinity blade and the best magic ring and others. This can put me off if I have to do all that again.

This game is the ultimate free time waster and yes I have been playing it rather than Black Ops, which is the previous ultimate free time waster.

@TheRedComet

agreed lol i stopped playing black ops to play infinity blade and i just love how accessible these iphone games are. Never really got into iphone games but once this and game dev story came out i was completely sucked in.

I love what Chair is doing here and as long as they keep things free or release things for a reasonable price (but preferably free) im on board with infinity blade for a long long time.

Exactly what does 'marrow' mean here? A kind of vegitables? We got some translation issues here....

( I heard somewhere there's actually a weapon called 'marrow' in the story of 3 kingdoms..)
