25 million gamers around the world will be standing knife-to-back for a good cause. Although some will be jumping knife-to-back, poisoning side-to-side, or shooting bullets-to-back but in the end the goal will be reached and Nighttime Rome shall be ours!

Let the stabbing, poisoning, shooting, neck snapping fun begin!

Is this the next new trend in gaming? Witholding DLC until the community can surpass a certain goal...

@Gibbeynator
I actually don't mind as long as it is implemented well.

Nor do I. Especially when it's executed like the BF:BC2:Vietnam map unlock; making people actually help their squad-mates might result in more people who do it in normal play after it's unlocked... *hopes*

It's better than paying $15 for 4 measly maps, like Black Ops will be doing.

How many kills do we have to make until we unlock the "not-having-to-wait-15-minutes-for-a-match-to-start" feature?

I enjoy seeing features (DLC/patch) like that unlocking after collective goals are reached.

I think CoD could work in a same model but setting targets to 1B (more?!?) for example to release a new map

I don't understand why the Animus Project DLCs were not included by a patch?
It makes more sense , that way EVERYONE gets it, instead of the people that happened to find it in the PSN or XBL stores.

@mywhitenoise Happen to find it? It's announced that it's there on a large scrolling bar at the bottom of the main menu and multi-player menu's - you couldn't miss it. Besides, it's likely something to do with the overall file size.
