This... when this game comes out I will not be leaving my house for at least 2 days. Screw classes, Nate Drake is beckoning!

I think Nate Drake's nickname should be Bomberman... cause everything around him is always exploding right in his face.

If Uncharted 2 is any indication you'll be done in 7-9 hours on your first playthrough on hard mode. Hopefully that is not the case. I wish they would just ditch the lame multiplayer and focus on making the sinpleplayer longer.

Hate much? Are multiple playthroughs something completely foreign to you?

Uncharted 2's multiplayer was not lame at all, it gets really competitive and it's not a rushed multiplayer UNLIKE SOME OTHER GAMES. I'm looking at you, Bioshock 2.

If yo finished the game that fast it means that you did not care to explore the game, find treasures and look at the beauty of this game. What a shame. You should go through it again, but take your time and try to enjoy this amazing game.

Hate? I loved Uncharted 2 and played through it 3 times (to get all the unlockables) but the multiplayer just felt like something tacked on. I don't play PS3 exclusives for multiplayer, I play them for epic singleplayer tellings. I have PC gaming and my 360 for competitive multiplayer.

I was pretty sore when I spent 65.69 on Uncharted 2 only to be finished with my first playthrough in 7 hours and change. It is hard to pace yourself with a game that good so I plowed through in one afternoon. I just hope for the sake of all Uncharted fans and myself they focus entirely on singleplayer because multiplayer is just not that important. Not every game needs it.

Beat both in 10 hours, then went to the hardest mode.. which took another 10-12.

I did that when God of War 3 came out. I didn't go to school for 2 days xD
I might do it again next year seeing how many awesome games are coming out.

@Anticrawl I would tend to agree with you, but I think it needs the multiplayer. Of all the PS3 exclusive, this has to be the best hands down in terms of both single player and multiplayer. I have come to never expect a campaign longer than 10 hours for a shooter, and I think this is the best campaign of them all across any platform.

However, like you, I stick with my PC/360 for almost all of my gaming.

Yes 7-9 hours of gameplay. Not including cutscenes. Go look at your gamesave man, I loved the game but I'm not going to sit here and make unfounded lies like stating it's easily "20 hours." I understand this games shortcomings and the length was one of the few. It was easily the best game on the PS3 that year but I was upset with the length. What is so damn hard to understand about that? Is it wrong to want Uncharted 3 to last longer? Would no one agree that a longer campaign be beneficial for all fans of the title? I suppose not, bunch of bassackward lunatics.

@Anticrawl you know the worst thing about your comment (never mind the fact that its a load of bull), is that some people will actually read it and believe that some how the game is lacking or that it actually is as short as your making out. Uncharted 1 and 2 had me on the edge of my seat for the whole duration of play, Uncharted is one of the best games of this console generation, both of them have been absolutely awesome.

I have no idea how long my playthroughs lasted, I was too busy having fun playing the game, it certainly did span a couple of days solid..

Obviously to you quantity matters not quality, which is a shame. Probably the same reason you only "competitively" play mp on the 360, obviously quality doesn't matter to you at all..

So, because you don't play multiplayer games on PS3, UC2's multiplayer is then rendered "tacked on"? Uh-huh...

Naughty Dog is to games as Pixar is to movies, at-least for me.

For years now, from the original Crash Bandicoot, to the PS2 Jak and Daxter series, and now the Uncharted series, ND has never failed to keep me entertained. As a gamer, I am in love with them.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a huge ND fan-boy, and that will probably never change. However, that does not mean I am a PS3 fan-boy. I wish ND would go multi-platform so everyone could have a chance to experience the games these developers make; they are simply best of class, every time.

I can't wait for this game, not at all. This and Gears of War 3 are going to complete my third person shooter requirement for a long long time.

2011 is going to kick ass, and chew bubble gum.

Rockstar went multi-plat, and Bungie is going multi-plat. both of those developers are on part with Naughty Dog. maybe it's a trend. it's unlikely Uncharted will come to any other platform, but maybe some other IP from ND.

I hope they don't go overboard with the cinematic elements. Every jump you take a the ledge you grab falls and stuff like that can get annoying. I'm sure NaughtyDog can manage that though. Can't wait!

nice. looks great. graphically, it looks almost identical to uncharted 2 though, which is really more of an observation than a complaint. i'm sure there are a few tweaks here and there, but is it safe to say that the ps3 has pretty much reached its graphical limits?

i don't know if we can truly make that statement until the full game is released. i remember feeling very underwhelmed by initial gameplay videos of god of war 3 late last year, but i couldn't believe how incredible the overall look was in the final package. that's just the nature of polish, i guess. rest assured: i'm sure we're in for a similar surprise with uncharted 3.

true. i was even surprised at how much more crisp god of war iii looked and played than the e3 demo. i could tell a huge difference, not to mention that the final product differentiated from the demo in some major ways. i still think uncharted 2 is the best looking game on the console, though.

How well UC3 is going to be received depends on how much of that fire is interactive or staged. Does it just look pretty or does it actually burn? Does it introduce time limits to firefights and puzzles, or again, does it just look pretty?

I highly doubt that the fire in one part of the game is going to determine how the entire thing is received.

Actually, you can see the fire burning away at cover at some individual points of the video. Plus, you can see enemies lighting up.

I think the only thing we as gamers can hope is that they decide not to go with the, "Oh by the way.... aliens" explanation for anything interesting that is going on in the game. It has ruined some of my favorite stories over the past few years and it better not be the undoing of Uncharted.

indiana jones? :) yeah, i know what you're talking about...i think it's safe to say that whatever supernatural or alien element they add to the story will likely not show up until near the end of the game, much like the first two.

Bah, regardless I hate how any story where Humans are the grand icon and their history is being explored everyone goes all brainfart and hurr durrs until they finally conclude it must have been aliens. Why can't people be more creative. Why not just have us as our own great history, where we peak as a civilization then force ourselves through a sort of intentional dark age because we discovered some great truth that was too difficult to bare alone.

I see ND tightened up the over-the-shoulder aiming and crosshair mechanics/functionality, which will make for more intense and precision gun play online.
