Brothers in Arms, Quake collection discounts highlight today's Steam Holiday Sale

Today's Steam deals are a doozy if you're looking to pick something up on the cheap, including Dead Space for $6.80 and the aforementioned discounts on all Brothers in Arms games and The Quake Collection -- the latter being a bundle of all three Quake games along with a bunch of DLC.

Honestly, these deals need to go away. I'm so tempted to just buying everything. KOTOR needed to be bought at $2.50. I bought it like 3 years ago for the original Xbox and couldn't get over the LQ presentation. 4:3 and etc on the 360. Getting it on the computer feels a lot better. Never played it prior but I'm hooked on it now. It's like I'm getting ready for "The Old Republic" ^_^

yeah dude, these sales are evil. I've bought a game every day of this madness, there is always one that i've been putting off buying, or didn't want to pay full price for.

by the time this is over, i'll have enough games to last me until next years sale!

Hm, it feels like I only just finally bought Greed Corp on the XBLA, and I certainly haven't had time to play it. I guess there's a *slightly* higher chance one of my friends may get it on Steam.

Seeing Quake Mission Packs referred to as DLC. I'm gettin' old.

Plants vs Zombies for $4 was my choice of the day.

Man, I'd totally have bought Plants vs Zombies if I could afford it. I still regret it every day not buying it during last year's Steam sale when I was employed and actually had an income :/

Anyone on the fence, the game is absolutely awesome. Buddy of mine has it. It's incredibly addictive. More like Crack vs Crack!

K&L2 is worth $5. It works, it's really not THAT bad.

Of course, by "all three quake games" you actually mean "the first three Quake games". They DID make a Quake 4, I believe you guys have written about it a couple times.

It also feels really weird for you to refer to full-fledged add-on packs that came on CDs as "DLC"...

Do you guys recommend City of Heroes? I've always watned to try it.

Also if anyone out there hasn't played through Dead Space and missed this deal they should really just kill themselves.

That said, new deals are out now. Oblivion GOTY for $10? How did I go so long without playing this game?

Kane & Lynch 2 for $50? PASS.

For $5? Hell yeah.

Also, if you've not played Brothers in Arms, getting all 3 for 10 bucks is a STEAL. Road to hill 30 is still the best, but all 3 are worth playing.

Plants vs Zombies is totally not $4 unless I'm looking at the wrong place.
