(Generic comment talking about how Avatar items are stupid and you're stupid if you buy them)

Those blank slate Avatars are creepy as hell.

The police officer outfit looks like the T-1000 is wearing it.
"Are you the legal guardian of John Connor?"

If you squint it looks like The Village People.
Seriously, who buys this stuff?

While I like my avatar and its look I just don't really bother about clothes shopping for it.

I buy them and give two shits about any one else's opinions on them. They are funny in avatar games.

Exactly. I have the full Santa suit. My 3 year old daughter loves it and laughs very hard when she plays Doritos Crash Course as my avatar. My 1 year old son points and says ho ho ho. This alone is worth the cost. If you want to hate me even more, I also bought the Rudolf accessory for my Santa. The kids love that too.

@FNG Penguin suit with the Muppets penguins here. Also the polar bear costume with polar bear pet. I personally laugh everytime I see the animation.

I think of all non-gaming xbox-specific purchases (themes, gamer pics, etc.), Avatar items are at least the most interesting. But, you know, elitism.

@zymman Some of the newer ones have some original animations. Whoever does the animations now is doi g a better job. I assume Rare no longer handles the day to day of avatar stuff.
Ninjas are a good example of well done animations. Especially the smoke bomb.

After all those deals leading up to the new year, its gonna be hard to pay full price for games and dlc for a while

@The Tim Fortunately there aren't too many 15 mega arcade games on the way or any good dlc to speak of.

Yeah I mainly picked up games and dlc that I was on the fence about or had forgotten about. Kinda wish I hadn't missed Laura Croft or Plants vs Zombies, but I picked up PvZ on Steam. And my wallet sure is glad the nickel and dime sales are over

Does anyone know if the executioner will let me get the 80msp back from rewards? I wouldn't mind it for 2 bucks.
