Even if you've never played a Disgaea game before -- heck, if you haven't played any game before -- you should watch the Disgaea 4 trailer posted below. It shows off a handful of the game's absolutely preposterous special attacks, many of which involve slamming foes into various celestial bodies.

Damn, I was kinda hoping we'd get another on the DS. But hell I'll take ANY Disgaea I can get. This 4 is long awaited.

All right guys... this may sound odd... but lets have him ride a SHEEP! thats right...and lets have him ride the sheep OVER a fence! I know I know... to powerful sounding...but I mean come on we have people in an endless chain slamming people into the MOON, I think we can fit a simple sheep riding power!

if it's like past Disgaea games though, you have to be at a super-high level in order to do those crazy awesome attacks...

Er, I haven't gotten back to playing the previous games lately, but if I remember correctly aren't special attacks more about getting upper tier classes to a moderate level than getting to a super-high level?
Getting strong enough to beat all the optional stuff though, definitely requires getting to a super-high level... Over and over again...

I absolutely cannot wait for this game. After spending hundreds of hours on Disgaea 1, 2, and 3, I'm ready to reach 9999 in a whole new Disgaea!

I can't help but want more portable versions of the games, 3DS would be fun depending on the depth they could pull off. It looks good, and the main character looks pretty cool too (Wonder if they'll bring it to the America's.)
