He probably meant where is the Joystiq app for Android. There's an iPhone one, and I think they said that an Android one would be in development, but I'm curious too how that's coming along.

@commenter7 I remember when they released the iPhone app, they said they were going to wait for Engadget's Android app to be updated and then they'd start with that as a base.

...Well, Engadget updated their Android app since then. The only thing that seems to be stopping them is Chris Grant's Apple Fanboyism.

@MowDownJoe

or that only a handful of people asked for an Android app... or that no one has time to write code for Android... or it could be because Engadgets Android app is a piece of sh!t...

but no... none of that is possible. Its all because Joystiq's writers are apple fanboys. That makes perfect sense. effin moron.

@Ladeluff And how big was "The Last Guy"? It got "internet-hype" for a little while and now no one talks about it anymore.

so am i getting this right? the movement is based on your movement in real life.

So when a person runs down a little girl in his car because he is busy dodging imaginary ghosts... will they be sued?

Gotta give some credit, this is really the natural evolution of Pac Manhattan:

It was a grad student project from a few years ago.

Would be neat if each ghost was another user of PacMap. Users could share a laugh for 10 seconds, then move on with their lives.

What I originally thought was happening was just a game of pacman that takes place on the map of your town. Actually driving around in your car to move pacman seems interesting, but dangerous and, by the look of the video, slow.

I'd rather just use my map to play a normal game.
