No negative press coverage in the world could outdo releasing a game like Two Worlds 1 on the consoles.

True, I had forgotten about X-Blades. However consumer awareness of that title is nowhere near that of Two Worlds. All gamers online know atleast someone who cried themselves to sleep over paying 60 bucks for that abomination.

"expands the availability of Two Worlds 2, continues growing the My Baby family, and works with Nvidia to bring Tegra 2-powered games to Android devices."

Quite the diversity!

Hm, I could have sworn it was the games born from the shit in their pants that created a bad reputation of the company...

Go figure.

@RyanS

Or how about Gamecock's oh-so-delightful Kanye West moment during the VGAs a couple of years ago? Those scamps!

@RyanS

I got a free copy of Two Worlds. I tried to get my money back after playing it.

That's a very carefully worded statement.

First, define substantive judgment. Seems like there could have been judgments against them, just not for ridiculous amounts.

Second, most lawsuits never make it to court. That there have been no substantive judgments doesn't mean that Southpeak hasn't settled any number of these suits that they may have anticipated losing.

Also, where there's smoke, there is usually fire. One or two lawsuits is one thing, but it seemed like Southpeak was getting sued by someone different every month last year.

Screw lawsuits, they need to be sent to game-jail!

How much longer do you think Noblis will be making games in the My Baby series after this?

How about a sequle to Legendary, eh Southpeak? I assume you got the rights when you bought Game Cock. Then again, I'm probably the only person who enjoyed Legendary.

@MatthewMk2
I thought Legendary was enjoyable to a certain extent. It certainly didn't deserve to be panned as much as it was. It definitely was not perfect but for a lower budget shooter, I think it serves as a pretty good base for what has the potential to be an interesting franchise. However, I don't think that will be happening, Spark Unlimited is busy with something else now anyway :/

@Arooguy Nice to know I wasn't the only person who thought Legendary was an ok game. To bad there most likely will never be a sequel but its good to know Spark is still around and working on something new. After Turning Point and Legendary I was worried that Spark would have to shut down like so many other devs, at least their still around. Should be interesting to see what they do next.

@Arooguy Hi again. I just looked at Spark Unlimited's site and In their Job listings it says they are working on a "3rd Person Action/Adventure title in a high-profile science fiction franchise currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC ". Interesting. I wonder what it is. Obviously not Legendary 2, oh well. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I just really want my Battle Vs. Chess.

I've heard it's been cancelled, even though it was supposedly ready to be released three separate times.
