I was leaning towards uncharted 3 or LA Noire for this years GOTY but now I think dead space 2 is in the conversation. That trailer was flipping amazing. Not sure if infamous 2 comes out this year but that's another sleeper with goty written all over it.

They totally took Dead Space in a completely different direction... I remember when Dead Space wasn't so big and EA took a chance and made it amazingly scary. I have no doubt that Dead Space 2 will still be scary, I just wish they didn't try so hard to appeal to a crowd that they never should've tried to win in the first place. Too much action the game never needed. Pulled an RE 5, good game, but had unneeded action.

Dead Space 2 is looking pretty awesome. Hopefully they will retain some of the horror elements that made the first so entertaining. I wonder how many sequences of "Issac gets dragged down hall and must shoot glowing portions of monster" there will be.
