Well, Sega is still dabbling in the whole "repacking" idea. It's stretch, but expect Sega to re-release even more classics. I suspect Sonic 1 and Altered Beast to lead the pack.

@TheBatman4141 How much disc space does this actually use? 2GBs even? This is why I think a game's size should be printed on the box. I want to know how much disc space is being used on a game I purchase. Yes, I know it doesn't indicate quality, but it is useful information just like the running time of a movie. It would at least keep them more honest with cash-grabs like this one!

Not sure how much fun Bass Fishing is going to be with out the actual fishing controller that it originally came with on the dreamcast.

just buy an old dreamcast on ebay if you want to play these games, a little bit more money but you won't support this stupid collection with your monies

I think this was pretty much assumed as soon as the existence of this collection was leaked. I wonder if it'll have the DX DLC for Sonic Adventure.

Does Sega really think they'll make money off this? I mean, sure they'll sell a few copies to PC gamers and people who don't have Xbox Live but no where near enough to actually profit off of this. Right?

You know, with the exception of Space Channel Part 2, I can walk 5 feet, and put my hands on all of those games.

The only way it would be worth if, is if it was $10 cheaper, and you could install them to your hard drive.

Wow - lame. This was an opportunity for Sega to offer a disc that worked like a virtual Dreamcast.

Imagine a virtual room as the main menu screen, with a Dreamcast hooked up to a "tv". You scroll through a list of Dreamcast games and once you find one, you get access to it's cover, instructions and of course the full game.

The game would include as-of-yet un-re-released games (so not Crazy Taxi), but if you download them (on XBLA), they're added to your "collection" in the Dreamcast Collection game.

There would also be a lot more then just 4 to start with.

Obvious dilemma is that the collection might only be limited to Sega published/developed games, but if it's successful, other devs could offer their Dreamcast offerings.

You must be a ret.ard. Powerstone isn't my thing since I never played it before these newer games, but it was like Super Smash Bros of its time. And Chu Chu Rocket is an amazing puzzle game. Never played Seaman.

Eh, this will be sub-$20 in weeks after release. So, kinda lame - especially with the musically neutered version of Crazy Taxi, but it will eventually be a good bit cheaper than the download counterparts.

Is there a PS3 version?

Like someone else on here, I'm wondering if Sonic will be the DX version.

Yeah, this looks lame, but as much as I hate to admit it I'll probably grab it when it's $15 or less if there is a PS3 version.

4 titles, cheaper than on the marketplace, and they give you more achievements (1000 vs 800)

If you don't have any of them, it's not a bad deal.

These collections of XBLA games almost always use the original achievements setup. So instead of one game with 1000 points, there will be 4 with 200, or however much Sonic Adventure will have.

What I like about this (and other) collections is that I can rent them on Gamefly instead of wasting MS points on them.

Are you kidding me?

Crazy Taxi....AGAIN!?

Unbelievable.

Sonic Adventure has also been ported out the ass, and it hasn't aged well at all.

Sega Bass Fishing, really? I'm sure that game aged well and especially without the fishing controller.

Space Channel 5 Part 2 without Part 1 is just brilliant!

It's time to put Sega down for good. If they can't get publishing rights for the good old games they have nothing. They're complete idiots over there.

Power to ya if you like this collection but you have to admit that they could have done a lot better and no Space Channel 5 Part 2 does not make this worth it.

I'm OK with this but I think the price is a little steep for just four Dreamcast games. If the collection had more of the Sega Dreamcast games (like Zombie Revenge or Metropolis Street Racer or Ferrari F355 among others), it would be worth it. The Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection is a value at $29 (or $19).

I would pay 1200 MS points to have a Power Stone collection on XBLA with on-line multiplayer support. That game could get so intense when you had players who knew how to fight. We used to have some EPIC battles on DC. Love it.
