@Liamario I'd rather play Black Ops all day than get spawn camped/toobed/trapped, commando knifed, akimbo shottied, one man armied, or nuke boosted in MW2.
MW2 is broken from a balance standpoint, so much so that it isn't fun to play at all anymore. From a feel standpoint it's superior, from a balance standpoint it is one of the worst competitive online games I have ever come across... likely of all time. The game makes a good amount of the guns, perks, and equipment completely useless because of balancing issues and I simply refuse to waste time trying to fight fair in that game when it's impossible to do so.
It's a shame Activision won't consider rolling whats left of IW into Treyarch and letting the former IW guys do the online code and engine while letting Treyarch balance the game and make the maps. Treyarch doesn't have to design the maps, just let them handle constructing them. I haven't seen anybody glitching into rocks or out of maps in BO, which is all I really care about. I want a fair shot at the other person. At the same time the online code for that game is garbage. Latency is ridiculous to begin with and compounded by the poor job their software does at recognizing and synchronizing actions by individual players.
Treyarch = Better balanced game, better built maps.
IW = Superior look and feel.
Why wouldn't you want to put those two together?

Black OPS is a lot more enjoyable than MW2, IMO. I didn't like the cornhole shinanigans that came with MW2 from the get go.

I'd be inclined to agree. I'm on my 3rd prestige and I can count on one hand how many times someone has called the Dogs out (myself included).
On MW2 though, I'll get to you next week when I can get a good count on how many times I've been nuked... :(

I think he's a troll that came over from under that N4G bridge. Anyways if i had the game I personally would not get them. Reason being because you get 15 new maps in about 10months but i will say the $15 price is not bad for this map pack since they are all new ones and you get a zombie map.

I refused to buy any of the MW2 map packs. This however, I will buy. MW2 map packs had 5 maps, but 2 were rehashed ones from the original Modern Warfare. I spent enough hours on those maps in CoD4, I don't want to pay for more of the same. This on the other hand is offering 5 all brand new maps, including the one zombie map. Variety and all new. Maybe still not worth $15 to a lot of people, but you cannot argue this is a much better offering than what MW2 gave us.

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga i have not paid for them in the past. i did not buy any of the mw2 map packs because they were 15 bucks. i generally dont buy map packs but i said i'd almost consider this one because the maps look interesting and there is a zombie map with it.
and yes i do pay a fee to game online, as does anyone with xbox live gold, but that is a once a year fee that allows me to play all of my games, and i do not have to pay additional fees for any of those unless i want more content.

@Dlord oh yea this is a much better offering no doubt, i just don't like paying for map packs that end up being skipped every time they appear on the play list. I bought the first map pack for cod4 and that's exactly what happened, aside from the first day i rarely got to play those maps.

When this drops on PS3, I'll probably STILL be playing LBP2 and ME2.
And I'd maybe buy it if it was 10 bucks on PSN. But I can live without extra maps.

Thanks but no thanks.
Sold Black Ops the other day. I stopped playing for a week or so to catch up on some other new games I've gotten, and after being away for a period of time, all of its flaws really stand out. I still tell my friends I don't think ill never have another online gaming experience like COD4. Played that for 2 years, even while everyone switched over to WaW.
Another thing, I don't think I like how they have COD points. Great idea to reinvigorate the franchise, but it was only neat for a few weeks. Its the same damn thing as leveling up for a gun anyways, except now, when you unlock it, you have to pay for it. There was very little excitement in leveling this time around, and I don't think there's much they can do outside of a major reboot to pull me back in again.

@CHEF BOYaR G I did not play BO and don't have any plans in to the future either to play it but man i understand where you coming from on the COD4 part that games multiplayer was so great and addictive and actually got me away from Halo so long that i couldn't even play it anymore luckily after 3yrs that game finally got old and i got back Halo. But i had some great experiences on COD4(until the glitches aka aim bot came out).

@CHEF BOYaR G I entirely agree with you. Its great to see that people didn't downvote you just because you don't like CoDBO anymore.

What are you talking about! Take the L96A1 and the Ak74u! The snipers are just way underpowered and the 74u is almost more powerful than the snipers in that game! Black ops is Awesome! but that's the only problem I have with it. Also if you look at all the 6-15th prestiges and go to combat record 95% of the time it sas 5,983 kills with 74u and 200 kills with whatever other gun! Oh and the new maps look pretty cool!
