i just got a new MacBook Pro for xmas to replace my old 2007 model. Id like to do something like this to my MacBook but Apple has a real bitch fit when you do ANYTHING to their labtops. They act like it has AIDS.

How is multitasking on Mac OS any different than multitasking on Windows? It's the same thing - you can open plenty of different windows and applications all at once and easily switch between them with a click or button press.
There are multiple spaces available, you can minimize, maximize, etc. just the same.
Instead of a start bar there is a dock - which performs a very similar functionality.
Not to mention Exposé, for when you have many windows to work with.
Don't post irrelevant slander without having a clue what you are talking about.
Also the "poor multitasking" you're complaining about is more likely to be a reference to iOS, which is not on the Macbook.
I'm not putting down Windows, just informing you that you are sadly misinformed.

@protojimmy I can see it both ways, having used both... but I do have a preference for the windows7 snap left and snap right commands... When your screen is the big enough, having a word/excel documents/other productivity software on one side, and reference material (pdfs, online journals, other web material etc) makes it so much more pleasant to do work. That being said... I'm not sure if that counts as multi-tasking or just doing some more intensive tasking? I suppose that is up to your opinion...
In the end it is personal preference, and for my reports, projects etc, I find windows 7 to have increased my productivity over mac and over vista (of course), so I am a happy camper. If I had the money for a new comp I would probably consider getting a new macbook and doing parallels on it... but after using win7 for a while, I don't feel any urge to go back to apple... (just like how I've migrated from iphone 3gs to android I guess?)

@acme64 I've noticed that playing youtube in an embedded player is slower than if you watch it on youtube.com also changing the quality level might also pull it from a different 'server load' ( like if 360p is dogging, changing it to 480p might actually be better if you know you have the bandwidth )
