They should keep it in the country. Louisiana has insanely delicious incentives to film and game development studios.

Hell they even provided the building and amenities for EA to open up shop in Louisiana as a temporary location while they built a staff and set aside a plot of land for them to open their new building when ready.

Just give-in to your tax break Canadian overlords. The sooner my country takes over the gaming industry the better.

Yes, people that was a joke.

Was thrilled to learn & fully support Kaos studio on the sole fact that it is based in my hometown of New York City & was telling everyone that at last their was a studio other than Rock Star in New York,but seeing as how you folks are choosing to leave my hometown , guess i my just have to forgo your game & continue to support the gaming house that are in my hometown.who refuse to leave cause they are on the verge of developing or creating the next video game hub like Boston or NC. maybe even better than those in the west coast. but good luck to you & your game (off to cancel preorder)

@kmcroc

I dont know if this is a joke or not?

You live in the biggest city in the US, and you really need video game developers to help your pride or whatever? I think that it is hilarious you base your decision to buy a game or not on where they develop the game (fyi, this game is developed in your home city regardless so I see no reason to cancel your preorder.... IN FACT by cancelling your preorder you are more than likely helping push this studio to Montreal).

Anyway, in the big picture, Im sure you willl find there are New Yorkers working in studios that are based outside of New York, maybe that makes you happy?

@RobertM24 yes pride may have to do w/ it a bit , but it has to do w/ the fact that their a few of us making our way into the industry & would love to be able to get our first gig in our home state not in Montreal or in Boston or NC,but right here in NYC. besides i also would like to see my hometown flourish in such a cool industry.as for the cancelling of the game i may have gone to far w/ that statement.
