@Danzaiver I want to hear about that too. I really enjoyed Doom 3, despite most everyone else hating it. :-/

Oh boy, lets hope they don't screw it up as bad as they did last year. Failcon 2010?

Overzealous moderators on the IRC channel: Fail.
Mentioning DC++ will get you banned from IRC: Fail.
Running 3000 computers off of 4 Clear wireless cards for internet: Fail.
Inability to connect to steam...even though they had a content sever: Fail.
Inability to receive new patches causing massive problems: Fail.
Some computers not being networked properly: Fail.
Follow-up: When asking for assistance from the NOC and being told the 'screw off because they have bigger problems': Fail.
Filtering ALL the ports and monitoring ALL network activity: Fail.

Yeah, not going to failcon 2011. Been there for 3 years in a row, 2010 was the death of Quakecon.

"This year's QuakeCon will conclude just over a month before the North American debut of post-apocalyptic FPS Rage"

This will also be the 47th time Rage has been shown at Quakecon. I can't wait to get my hands on the damn game already >:-|
