Weekly Webcomic Wrapup has an embarrassment of comics

It's another one of those wonderful weeks where the webcomic community turned out so many gold comedy nuggets, that we'd feel guilty for sticking to our usual "seven strips per Wrapup" policy. No, seriously, we'd feel absolutely flooded with guilt. Should we ignore these impulses, we'd simply drown in the stuff. We know we're putting a lot of pressure on you with these extra offerings, but we hope you appreciate the great stress it removes from us to pass the buck in this manner.

Gabe Newell's gleeful face gets my vote. The whole strip could have been reduced to that last panel and I still would have voted for it. VG Cats it is!

LOL! My vote goes to Dueling Analogs' "Welcome to Chatotroulette". Pretty difficult choice. Most of them are awesome. :D

Voted for Awkward Zombie. I am apart of the Dragon Age Origins Blood Awareness Program (also known as D.A.O.B.A.P) and I demand that someone react to themselves being drenched in blood.

Dragon Age is my game right now, I had to vote for Awkward Zombie. I don't have my dog (named Imadogg) to clean me up anymore.

I really liked Kinder Surprise, but I have to give my vote to erected Pokémon.

I don't know why, but something about a naked Gabe Newell swimming around in cash made me laugh.

I think I need to see a therapist.

Because I was laughing at Cash By Value too. Just, you know, its existence, not the actual strips themselves.

They're all funny!! ...maybe because I'm drunk... Happy 21st birthday to me!!

Why does every single person in Extra Life always look like a mongoloid? It makes their consistently terrible jokes even worse.

Awkward Zombie wins it this week. To be fair, it might be because I've just replayed the Mage origin story myself a couple of days ago, but it's probably more because I vote for that comic pretty much every time it's not WoW-related.

Once again, PA, BitF and AZ are the only worthwhile ones. VGC was, however, actually funny, shame about the far too ridiculous faces (again!) and the prolonging the punchline far too long.

And now my thoughts on the rest of them:

NCV: Nice use of ctrl+v pal. Also way to stay up to date, triple battles were announced before the game was released in Japan. So, summer last year.

DU: UGLY AS SIN. KILL IT WITH FIRE.

EL: HAHA DICK JOKES THAT EVERYBODY ALREADY MADE WITH THE FIRST LBP. Also ugly as hell. And who still does that directly side on view anymore? jeez

NN: Ok this was actually quite amusing on second looks.

DA: HAHA CHATROULETTE DICK JOKES AREN'T TOTALLY OVERPLAYED AT THIS POINT RIGHT?

A couple of alright strips, a couple that made me laugh, and a load of trash. Business as usual in the wide wonderful world of webcomics!

Little Deviant would be so much cooler/weirder if they replaced the cat face with Giygas.

No one found the red mage in the Nerf Now thread amusing? I never noticed that the FF red mage is just Orca without the O and with feet before. Very funny.

Although, my vote had to go to Penny Arcade (who aren't always funny). Reminds me of my MMO days, when I'd kill animal-monsters, and they'd drop swords and stuff from, er, somewhere.

I hadn't seen the blood spatter in Dragon Age till I switched PCs to a better one and was able to play the game with more than lower detail. I found it hilarious.

Dueling Analogues was the only one that i "got" and was funny...

This was by far the single funniest week in the Webcomic Wrapup! I was getting good laughs at them all. But I am going to stick with PA....it made me face-palm at the truth behind it....

does the guy who makes No Cash Value pay you guys to keep his comics in these things?

I've noticed that I'm opening all the comics in new tabs, reading them quickly, and then voting...without realizing who wrote which comic (meaning I'm apparently not even paying attention to anything other than the comic). I have to come and re-open the comics (I close them after reading for whatever reason) to find the one I liked. I was surprised that the one I voted for was PA...don't know why, but it felt different from their normal style. Maybe just me?

VGCats was good too...just ran a little long for my tastes, but I don't think I would've changed it, either, if that makes any sense. I still laughed.

Lots of good ones this week. Enjoyed No Cash Value as well, because I've been in those shoes too many times. :(
