This...might actually be awesome. It's been a while since I geeked out to some video game music. The last set I bought was Okami, which was also awesome.

I remember playing the first one and was blown away with how awesome the sound and music was in that game! I might have to check this out.

Just because the newest game (with a 8 month development cycle between 3 teams) was terrible doesn't mean that the series overall wasn't amazing. It has the greatest soundtracks of all time for any video game - period.

I got all the Medal of Honor soundtracks, and let me tell you, they are awesome.
In fact, I was listening to the Medal of Honor:Airborne soundtrack when I clicked on this.
The Medal of Honor: Front Line soundtrack is in my opinion, one of the greatest soundtracks in all of video games. Michael Giacchino is a master of music.

@Connor650 .....I couldn't agree more. Frontline is straight MOVING...Arnhem, especially, always made me teary. Michael Giacchino is nothing short of genius (his work in Pixar's UP, too, was phenomenal).

He is! I originally went to see The Incredibles just because he was the composer. A true genius.

Also being Frontline was best in the series imo, the soundtrack is no exception.

I find Allied Assault to be better than Frontline. And btw, Airborne is BASICALLY Frontline's tracks if you listen carefully.

Uh, do the Medal of Honor games even have decent soundtracks? I understand games like BlazBlue/Guilty Gear with heavy metal or Okami, Mass Effect, and Final Fantasy with beautiful orchestral soundscapes, but Medal of Honor?

Eh, to each their own.

Skip to 1:17, and then play. And imagine walking into a war-torn small town that has been utterly devastated by the tanks you hear rumbling in the distance. MoH: Frontline was nothing short of POWERFUL because of its music...don't knock it, man.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh are you serious dude? Medal of Honor invented the cinematic game. Why? Because Steven Spielberg headed the studio and original plans for the game. There is no series that has had a consistently incredible soundtrack.

I'll take an original score over a licensed soundtrack any day of the week.

Ya know. My friend Ben that I grew up with.. his older brother composed a bunch of music for the medal of honor series..... at least I am pretty sure it was medal of honor. I'd have to check with him to be sure. Okay, I'm like 90% sure he did music for the medal of honor games.

Sweet Jesus, I don't care if Medal of Honor has epic music, 10 hours of it clumped into one is overwhelming.
Also, Frontlines was the best.

There was music in these games? All I remember is the sound I made when I discharge my weapon.

Did you ever take your finger off the trigger? You must have gone through an awful lot of ammo.

Bringing up Spielberg made me remember how awesome MoH was when it started out on PS1, and now lame it eventually became.
