Red Dead is far more than 3 awards better than Dante's Inferno.

Wait, Dante's Inferno came out this year!?

I guess the game was ultimately forgettable following God of War, and I was a Day 1 purchaser and fan...

Good god Dante's Inferno was a bad game.... I don't believe it's deserving of those awards at all.

Red Dead should run away with most of these. One of the best game soundtracks of all time.

No love for Nier? Nier has the best soundtrack for a game I've heard in a long time. Japanese games count too guys!

Shame the Jamie Lidell song wasn't nominated but I guess when the soundtrack was/is that good, it's tough to nominate all of them.

Jose Gonzalez playing as you ride into Mexico will live with me for a long time. Surely an iconic moment in gaming.

Where's ME2 for best dialogue? Are they seriously penalizing it because of the T800 and all the daddy issues?

@Bielzer yea, I loved it.. I think people here are forgetting it's about the audio.. which I would choose Heavy Rain in any catergory, since I pretty much always turn the music down

I don't recall harvesting baby demons in God of War.

Red Dead Redemption is certainly deserving taking the leads. That was some all around great music and sound design. When "Far Away" kicks in was simply one of the most satisfying moments this year in video games.

But one surprising omission is Nier. Say what you want about that game, but it had a fantastic sound track. Easily among the best of the year, and probably my personal favourite. It went from edgy to soothing, subtle to bombastic, uplifting to absolutely tragic. That sound track elevated what otherwise would have been a fairly uneven drama to something pretty special.

RDR's music is mind blowingly good. It was the first video game music I hunted down and bought.

It's ironic it was chosen for "Best Use of Multi-channel Surround" since the game itself doesn't even have native subwoofer support. I would have chosen Bad Company 2 due to the way they treat their LFO like a tactile channel.

Glad to see Bad Company up there. BFBC2 and Red Dead were my personal favorite audio games this year.

Dantes was an ok game.... at first. The last couple levels in the game were laughably unfinished.

Sound design was good though.

I'm disappoint.
