@Grand Kerfuffle
I notice discussions(and games)like this always seem to start with any of the following:

- "Wouldn't it be cool if..." (BULLETSTORM?)
- "I had this dream last night that..." (PSYCHONAUTS?)
- "It's a simple concept, okay? Hear me out on this: ..." (ANGRY BIRDS)

@foxhound I'd really love some fly-on-the-wall insight into Noby Noby Boy's conception.

Hopefully an XBLA release date for Octodad!

Though, since it's now a school project, that will probably never happen.

I'm attending DePaul and going for a Game Dev major myself. :D
I'm excited to see a project like this actually make some noise on the internet :D

Octodad is such an unfortunate name title. I can't help but think of that family that used hormones to have 8 kids.

Can't see your point. It's an obvious pun on octomom and actually, the article talks a lot about the game being fun and funny but after watching that video, the only funny thing I can see about it is the name.

For so long we've seen advertisements for all of these for-profit schools that focus to some degree on game development and yet I've really not seen much of interest out of them. I'm largely talking about the ones that advertise during daytime TV.

It's nice to see a traditional college have a program like this that's actually doing things and is respected.

As a DePaul student (I'm actually in the Loop campus library right now), I'm quite pleased to hear about this. I wish they had a demo set up on campus; that would be awesome.

Agreed - I'd love to try it out. It was pretty funny to see the huge poster for Octodad on the side of the DePaul Center though. Kind of a weird thing to see in the loop.

DePaul! My beautiful, beautiful alma mater.

Day one purchase, of course! I don't even own a 360 at the moment.

We are DePaul!
