In before the skeptics...

Good to see... looking forward to seeing what the gameplay is like.

I think the best part is that it's an XBLA title.

This is still a ways away from Halo. Still, seems freaking awesome and better than the launch titles ... Combined

"I just played the first "hardcore" Kinect game. Sitting down, even."

This first sentence made me think of Snagglepuss then I read the whole thing in his voice.

WACKY WAVING INFLATABLE ARM FLAILING TUBE MAN!

Sounds good so far. I'd like to see some video of this in action. Glad to hear of a game like this coming for XBLA, even :D

I can't believe he passed up an opportunity to use that. "Wavy arm guy" just doesn't cut it.

Hahaha your comment made me laugh (i'm not saying your wrong, I know it's your opinion). But the previewer basically raves on about how awesome the game is shaping up and you come out with. "Looks kind of terrible"

That's like seeing a sign saying best burgers in the world, and from that sign alone saying "Ewww those look disgusting", where you could've said "I prefer Pizza"

That's actually pretty funny.

Looking at his comments, it makes me wonder if he even likes video games at all. It seems as if he finds every game "boring."

...Roger Ebert, is that you?

Don't you also find it funny that one food item is talking to another food item. A sandwich talking to a burger. That is just hilarious haha.

I've been skeptical of kinect but I'm slowly coming around and the more games we see like this the better.

I want this game a lot, looks like the first Kinect game worth getting, (besides Dance Central) but im not gonna spend $150 for what at most is a $20 download

@phatman516 My guess is this probably isn't thte last game released for the Kinect. TP is going to charge $15.

This looks great. I've been waiting since launch for a second game that's worth moving my coffee table for (stupid Kinect demands that I rearrange my living room...).

Leave it to Twisted Pixel to save the day.

I was skeptical originally; stuff like the huge reticle gave me the impression it was dumbed down rail shooter. However this preview has instilled some faith back in me. Twisted Pixel is an amazing developer, and I want to try this one out as soon as possible.

Also, even though this game is about a marionette, I didn't really think you'd be controlling it like a marionette. Now that's awesome!

I love the art style, and I really want to try it, but I'm not buying a Kinect for it. Hopefully there'll be a price drop at some point.

I can't quite put my finger on why but the first word that comes to mind when I see this is adorable.

Looks like a wonderful presentation and a good use for the tech.
If I had an Xbox I'd probably snap it up in a heartbeat.

@WanderXMono Only in the way that the PS3 is a glorified PS2 or whatever, in that the latter makes games possible that weren't on the former. Gunstringer, for example, would not be possible on the eye toy due to the lack of depth.

It is a camera, yes, but it also uses a second camera for depth imaging, does some limited processing on the camera (not skeletal, though, since the CPU was removed) and has a microsophone array for picking up who said what.
