I'm really at a loss to understand how Cage is in a new movie that I feel like he has already done before. Cheesy revenge flick III. It almost feels like a parody or some sick joke they're hoping everybody finds amusing.

Phhhhbbbbbtt... Alright I'm going go avoid more homework and watch more episodes of Damages :(

It's just that there's a neverending demand for action flicks. Lots of young teenagers and non-fine art critics out there?

What happened to the PSP Go?

It's like someone found a missing crate of 2,500 and people just realized they hadn't been on the shelf in a while.

Doesn't surprise me. I went looking for a PSP or PSPgo for a 30th BDay present for a friend (a group present) last month but couldn't find one anywhere.

I initially thought they'd been discontinued or something. Then I figured they'd just sold out for Xmas and hadn't restocked yet. Anyway, we ended up buying something else instead.

Maybe some company bought like 2,000 of them from Amazon to give to their employees instead of bonuses this year?

8MM was horrible. Only good movie is Raising Arizona.

I have to admit to loving Con Air even if it is a terrible movie.

I must be in the small minority who always finds Nic Cage enjoyable to watch, even in otherwise shit movies. When he's allowed to act crazy and have fun with the role, he's one of the most entertaining actors going.

The hell? Where'd PSPgo get that bump in sales?

Also, I think Joystiq should start accessing the weekly Japanese videogame sales as well. I'm tired of seeing what seems to be the same ranking every week. PSP at the top, an interchangeable middle and either PS2 or PSPgo at the bottom.

Having the game sales will add some variety and different discussion in the comments every week.

The masterpiece that is Drive Angry 3D isn't even showing over here yet.

As for the surge in sales for the PSP Go, I'm guessing it has to do with the custom firmware + isoloader that has been released for it recently. At least people can get their umd games they actually own and put them on their PSP go since there are so many missing from the PSN store and who wants to buy them all over again. Yes, I know it will be abused and people will download and install game backups that they don't actually own but I'm just giving my two cents of why the PSP Go is blowing up all of a sudden.

Don't blame the film maker. The international market buys a greater number of tickets than the US market, which is grossly disproportionate to the relative GDP levels.

It's the non-US people who are stupid for watching this crap in enough numbers to justify more.
