"04:00AM - Sydney (January 20th)"

So.... people in Australia have already seen this almost two months ago?

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff.

our politicians might not pass R rated games, but they go bananas for Deloreans.

BTW you get married to Halle Berry next week, get ready for disappointment, as you find out her big secret.

I can't afford to miss morning class, so I can't keep up with the live stream!!! Oh well, guess I'll just read later on if they had any bombshells...

I really doubt there will be any big bombshells, except maybe some specific release dates for games(Zelda Skyward Sword, Kid Icarus, etc). Any huge news wouldnt be announced until E3.

I wouldn't think so, unless in the very vaguest of terms. Nintendo has the formula to get one more good holiday season out of the Wii, and either way they won't do anything to take the spotlight off 3DS

When people don't use periods to end their thoughts, I can't help but imagine their comments as spoken by the guy from Sling Blade. Mmm hmm.

I'm a little confused. It's a keynote on GDC, which to me sounds more like a seminar, but people are expecting announcements from Nintendo. Do people speaking at the keynote normally make announcements or something?

@PointlessPuppies

There's usually snippets or at least hints at a GDC keynote. I'm more interested in the general conference, but there may be a surprise or two peppered along the way, especially this close to the western 3DS launch.

@PointlessPuppies Plus, in 2009, GDC is where Nintendo announced the SD Card launching for the Wii, Zelda Spirit Tracks, VC Arcade, and a few other titles peopel seemed excited about. While I don't think we're going to see Wii System Menu 5.0 today there's always a possibility for something big, particularly with the 3DS right around the corner.

Indeed they have. Most of the times Iwata's gone keynoting here, something of worth has been announced.

Given that the keynote's about the 25th anniversary of GDC which happens to coincide with the 25th anniversary year for Zelda, well, that seems like too good an opportunity to pass up, but otherwise i'm keeping my expectations low

Could be right. I never pay attention to Nintendo's events outside of E3, probably because they don't exist or are super boring.

In Miyamoto's case, quality = sales.

Don't doubt Iwata's judgement, the man's a very smart businessman.

@DarkSonata (WARNING: MAJOR USE OF SPANGLISH!) Don't worry! I'm from Hacona! (is this how it's spelled) I've only been in Mexico twice (Despite the fact that I was born there) If a white guy gets Netflix, they'll be like "This is kinda nice, I think I'll call my friends over." But when a Mexican firsts uses Netflix ( Just got it Sabado) This is what I said: "AH MAMI! ES NETFLIX! SI ES NETFLIX! Oh have to tell mi prima!, I wonder what's onOMFG THERE'S FAMILY GUY!!!!!!!" That, my anonymous friend, is a mexican's reaction to Netflix.

BTW: Jenni Rivera is kindof fat, who knew?
