First of all, I was talking about the person who posted this article on Joystiq not the comment, don't assume things before you know the whole story. Second, i wasn't trying to defend COD, I was just simply stating that everybody hates it but never say why (At least most of them don't). & it really gets annoying how people need to compare it to other games instead of just saying it's flaws.

@Prboi Well let me add reason to the unreasoned "BF3 is better" statements. ITS A BATTLEFIELD GAME. That means large maps, upwards of 64vs64 matches, Vehicles, large variety of guns, distinct and useful/well-rounded class outfits, more "realistic" game mechanics like bullet drop and delay, Teamwork that actually works (for ONCE), The usual "Battlefield Moments" (ex. riding into battle from a Aircraft carrier in a Transport Chopper and diving out of the back of it and parachuting down to land to cap the first Point of the game), and BF3 is slated to have BFBC2's level of Destructible Environments (ie. Your cover is NOT safe from me >:P). However, I'm not actually saying it's better. I'm just saying that's what it has, and I like what it has.

Basically CoD is the new cool thing to hate. While I won't argue over people's taste, it's just silly how people treat the franchise as if it's the worst thing ever.
It's just how it is. People find the thing that's absolutely easy to hate (before it was Halo, now it's CoD) and praise what isn't mainstream (Battlefield). That is until Battlefield becomes the new, popular, franchise and it too eventually becomes hated. It's a never ending cycle.

If its anything like the console versions, the maps will simply not show up for you. However, if you joined a friend after they got out of a new map, its more likely they will pop up. They handled it very well on console. I have never been put into a room (outside of joining friends games) with the new maps.

The Wii version of Black Ops is just as good as the other versions minus the graphics and a few things like theater mode. It even has patches and you don't need friend codes to add people plus you can do text messages and voice chat.
It even says in the instruction book that there's going to be a in game store for buying maps.

@Tradio Thank god we still have VALVe. I don't know if they even really know what Commercial DLC is...they just have "Updates." And thats fine with me if I don't have to pay extra for the 30-something maps, gamemodes, and items put in TF2 since its release. Not to mention L4D DLC (which costed on Xbox) being free on PC.
