This is a definitely purchase for me.

I remember playing the original Backbreaker demo & wasn't a fan of the football but I got hooked on the small sample of the Tackle Alley mode. I said to myself at the time 'They need to release just this mode as an XBLA game'.

Looks interesting. I liked the Madden 3 on 3 game. Arcade football games are usually cool. Where is Blitz though? I would love an XBLA release of Blitz 2000

Click to watch ad (trailer). Pop-up tab with ad appears. Click to watch ad again. Unwanted video ad. Desired ad starts. Overlay ad pops up. Click to close overlay ad. Pop-up tab with ad again.

This is too much to watch a trailer....

It's not that great of a trailer anyway.

@(Unverified) I wish the internet followed the TV model:

15 minutes of commercials per hour of air time. (45 minutes of program)

Would EA just buy this company and implement this physics tech into Madden already?!

@Scape3d
natural motion is a 3rd party middleware developer who decided to create a football game to showcase their software. EA is free to license the tech if they wanted, but they have a thing about keeping those types of things in house. besides, i would rather they stay independent so RockStar and other companies can continue to use the product.

Since when can you butt-slide, make contact with a defender, get up, and keep running?

@Trojan
Following the rules of American football was always a bit of a problem with BackBreaker. Hah. I really did like the game but even some of their forumites would say that the development team didn't want to follow all of the rules of the NFL, but wanted to create their own game.

@Trojan It's not supposed to be a "simulation" of real football... It was hard enough for the community to get them to put certain rules in. As a matter of fact, face masks aren't even in the game any longer because they couldn't adjust the mentality of the players. It's a good game, but no where near as good as Madden and as long as they continue the "ARCADE" route it will never be.

BTW They have stated themselves that they aren't trying to compete with Madden but when you sell tires, if your not competing with Perrelli, your basically no thrills.
