Thats... amazing. I wonder if they'll make it 20 seasons as well, or whatever it was.

In the Criminal Justice System the people are represented by two separate, yet equally important groups. The police who investigate crime and the District Attorneys who prosecute the offenders.

These are their games.

No, you're not. Everyone knows it will be good solely due to the fact that it's made by Telltale.

Honestly, I'm shocked.

The words "bone license" have just been sitting here, waiting for someone to turn them into an ill-advised SVU pun.

Rape-based word play doesn't write itself, you know.

Please don't

Although I do trust the ability of Telltale, they've taken on too many projects recently (Back to the Future, Jurassic Park to name the few), and I believe this is a big warning for failure.

They should focus on what they're doing, and postpone the ideas until they're more free.

The CSI game wasn't that bad.

I played through most of it.

There was no blood in my urine, afterwards. I checked.

That has to count for something.

The fugly one?

Of all the Law and Order series you could've adapted, and you picked the fugly one?

Early L&O would've been awesome. I would've also taken the last season of L&O. Sisto and Anderson were surprisingly watchable.

Any season of SVU would've been better, though significantly more rape-y than what Telltale is probably comfortable with.

Even Criminal Intent would've been preferable. D'Onofrio, Noth, Goldblum, I don't care.

But LA? The one that had to get pulled off the air and given an impromptu facelift.

Whatever.

I still love you, Telltale.

This may be taking on too many projects Telltale. There can only be so many point and click adventure games.

I also would have much rather played Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. I can already imagine the UV light hidden body fluid minigame and the dialog tree with the average working man that can't stop working while talking to the police.

really? more telltale games? kinda feels like they should be focusing on quality, rather than quantity. Personally I would enjoy their games if they ran on a stable engine that wasn't so herky-jerky with scene transitions and such.

I love Telltale and am glad someone's making such a consistent effort to bring adventure games back into the limelight... but I honestly think the episodic model and their tools\tech have become major limitations. I'd love to see what they could do with a larger game, broader scope, a less simplistic art style and time to really flesh out the details. If you played one of the LEC greats it would reek 'labor of love'. So many little nuances and details. More things to see and do than you would in one playthrough.. etc. Telltale's games feel a little shallow in comparison and the brevity of the episodes and their speedy production seems to be the most likely culprit. My loyalty to the LEC adventure classics and their creators has kept me following Telltale so far, but I'm afraid I'm starting to lose interest...

Not that I would have checked this game out anyway. I avoid crime shows almost as consistently as I avoid games based on crime shows.

Yeah, but then they'd only be able to release one game every ten minutes instead of their usual three hundred forty-two.

@Urethra Alfredo Ya.. but I'd take one Grim Fandango over a hundred ToMI\Sam'n'Max eps any day. Furthermore I'd take one interesting original IP over a thousand licensed properties as readily.

*sigh*.... I'm sure Telltale will make it a hell of a lot of fun. But I'm sorry, Law & Order: LA is an embarrassment to the franchise. It feels like a cheap knock off that you'd see on WB or some crap. It's absolutely horrible and if I was Dick Wolf, I'd sue NBC's ass for ruining his good name.
