@PR0F3TA They said they're going to come out on the PS3 as well, the reason the first one didn't was supposedly it would have added an extra 6 months of time.

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga

Really? Please correct me if im mistaken (I may have read this about a different xbox only game) But im sure they said they made this on the PS3 first, So that they could make it the best game they could make it, By being able to make it for the more "difficult" console? Actually, Im pretty sure that im right.

I'm playing it right now on my first playthrough that I got from the Steam sale. It's a good game.

I'm playing through 2033 right now. I had hoped that it was much more open than it actually is; it's pretty linear so far. I hope they open the gameplay up more so it can compete more with RAGE and Fallout 3 (though FO3 is slightly dated).

@Frostblade10

it never really opens up at all, even when you're outside of the metro station, but it's still a pretty good game.

Sorry, Hoss. Its not really open like Stalker or Fallout.

Still, its good fun for what it is.

Makes sense, I don't think the Metro 2034 book has much to do with the Metro 2033 book at all.

What he said and....anyone know if it's be possible to get the first ported over to PS3? I own it for 360 but since I don't actually own a 360 yet I'm in a bit of a paradox.

Please. This is a PC game with awesome graphics. It's even better in 3D. The PS3 is a piece of crap game console that mainly plays movies, I know because I own one.

I have the original on the 360, but I'd buy it again if it were released on the PS3. Same goes for Last Light!

I loved the first game, it's one of my favourite games of all time. So I'll definately be looking forward to it, here's hoping for a PS3 version of both games!

here's to hoping that they use Shooter Jennings's song Last Light Radio as somewhere. Love that song. Love the whole CD black ribbons.

@BookishOwl
my bad, last light radio was the fictional station narrated by Steven King. Brain fart. I was thinking of "when the radio goes dead" right after "last light radio 11:57" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kF3GZC1J7c

Good, maybe they'll figure out how to use hard collisioning and proper gun physics in their next game

I wouldnt have played the first one if justin's review had not convinced me and I definitely would have missed out, I hope they can keep the atmosphere of the first game.
