Does this mean that this is more like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and not a true Assassin's Creed 3

Can't wait for this, if they keep up the quality & formula of AC2 & Brotherhood I will gladly buy one per year. Great to hear there will be more Ezio, he's a terrific character and so much better than the soulless Altair. Will be sad to see him go. I'm not into the multiplayer but I love the single player.

Why can't Ezio just DIE? I thought they said Assassin's Creed 3 was next. I knew it was too good to be true. Ubisoft, you could at least improve the game by adding some Rabbids in there. They always make your games better. Right?

Oh goody! Another studio that suffers from Capcomitis (n. the inability to count to the number 3, causing outbreaks of rehashes, incremental updates and spinoffs instead of producing a true sequel, symptoms first experienced by Capcom in the 1990's during the Street Fighter II era)

@Uncle Jesse

Uncle Jesse, he means that since we play through the protagonist by use of our genes, that if Altair is that old in the animus, he couldn't have helped produce Desmond yet.

@BrianH
Either that or someone in Ubisoft is reading this and has to go tell the guys in R&D that they're fired

Interesting how many people are tired of Ezio and/or Altair but are still excited for successive installments of AC. That says a lot about Ubisoft's world-building abilities. It also says a lot (in a bad way) about their character building.
