Not quite as awesome "tragic" as the last one, but it does convey a sense of despair well. The FAST & FURIOUS zombies are ludicrous but sadly part of the deal~ I know it's all fiction, but at least the original tried to make it feasible to a small extent. But morons who watched '28 days later' with all them SUPER RABID running LIVING people going about and mauling everything around them was too much to ignore with that remake... no going back indeed

The only morons are those that think the infected in 28 Days Later are zombies. They don't die and reanimate, they get infected with the rage virus and attack. Their muscles aren't degenerated or crippled so running is perfectly acceptable. Also the rage virus actually makes them faster.
Now for zombie films that show fast reanimated zombies, that's a different story.

@Liquidfingers check out a real palm tree up close and you will see they have ridged bark that makes it pretty easy to climb all the way to the top. So you could climb up there tie the rope around the tree and your neck and drop off....success! I climbed one a few years ago to knock some coconuts out of it, wasn't hard at all.

Well you cant exactly have all the zombies be slow without it just coming accross a Dead Rising clone, there are normal zombies in the game. I think the different types will help with the pacing and make it more of a challange. Go read the review the Joystiq just posted a few days ago and you'll see what I mean.

I think this game will be awesome. Judging by what I read in the preview this will be one hell of a survival game. Here's hoping they don't screw it up.

Unfortunately I grow less and less excited for this game every time I see it, Everytime I see a new screenshot, I see the 'promised awesome-ness' of that original trailer move further away...

I want to play the game that these trailers advertise for. Sadly im pretty sure that game ISNT Dead Island.
