Amazon has Chris Taylor's legendary RTS title Supreme Commander as a Games for Windows edition for the low, low price of just $4.50. It's only available to US customers, and only as a download.
Yes, for less than the price of a gallon of gas, you too can command vast armies of units of all shapes and sizes, zooming in and out of a gigantic map at will. It'll be the cheapest war ever fought.

Yeah they put the price up almost immediately after this was posted. It was $5 though I saw it myself. Makes you wonder if there's any point in posting these finds if amazon are just going to straight away bump up the price whenever they see peoples interest in it.

@Jay Z That's like asking what a Benjamin is. Sure the phrase isn't used as often but most people know who is on a $5 bill... right? Well, maybe not.

I first read that as "Amazon selling Supreme Commander Lincoln" and immediately had visions of a game where you play as a cyborg Abraham Lincoln defending the planet from various threats.

I got SC2 on Steam for £2.50 (about $4) about six months ago. And SC1 came free with my CPU 3 years ago. =/

I must be out of touch...when did $4.50 become a "Lincoln"? Is there a $4.50 bill?

And here I thought Amazon was selling Supreme Commander for a penny. Damn you, Lincoln, and your currency promiscuity!

Amazon is doing a 10-day stretch of sales on PC games. This was posted at the very end of Day 3. CAG has a thread about the sale:
