Right.

Because clearly Nintendo has always banked it's successes on quality 3rd party titles in order to sell their hardware.

So you guys want Nintendo to go it alone this gen, right? Whlie I don't doubt Nintendo's ability to produce quality first-party titles and system sellers, doing all of this without major third-party support is downright dumb.

Imagine what would happen if Nintendo and some minor parties were supporting the 3DS. I just cringe at the thought of it...

Here's to hoping this "project Cafe" is going to be showed off with Super Smash like the latest rumors are saying

P.S. If Sony doesn't show more Sly 4 I will die! That teaser at the end of the Sly collection has been killing me!

The difference being that GameCube was a failure, and making TP GameCube exclusive would only have diminished the game's significance. Wii could still have a great holiday season this year if it has games, and the first full-motion Zelda could definitely make that work.

@Faceless Troll Get ready to lose your $10. This is meant to be a substantial hardware upgrade. Skyward Sword looks extremely good for a Wii game. Bur compared to PS3/360? Uh, no. I don't think simple upscaling would work here to get it in line. Nintendo treats the Zelda franchise with the most caution; Zelda games have to look THE best. I doubt they'd create a Zelda with subpar graphics for a system.

@Im No Hero Well Xbox tends to put up the conference on Xbox Live some time afterwards, for DL.

Nintendo streams their stuff on their personal website.

It's just Sony who's left in the dust. But no one wants to watch charts & graphs anyway.

Im more interested to see how Sony is going to be dong its Press Conference after all of this has happened. It will probably be entertaining to say the least.

$10 says Nintendo will be announcing the 3DSi (Or XL)

25$ Says Microsoft will be announcing that Saber Interactive will be making the Halo 1 Remake AND 343 Will be announcing Halo 4 for 2012-2013, or a Halo Reach Map Pack in the next few months.

Bungie, while they say they wont be at E3, will actually be at E3 and will be announcing their new IP

I don't think Nintendo has ever announced a handheld 'update' at E3 besides the Game Boy Micro, and 3DS has been out for weeks. It hasn't even had a holiday season yet. No way. A price drop would be nice;)
Red or White Super Mario Bundle at the holidays for 269.99, but that wouldn't be announced 'til October.

I think you lost 10 dollars then.
The only reason (As far as I can tell) why someone would buy a DSi over a regular DS lite is the Virtual shop.(Sure there are other nifty stuff but I'm pretty sure this is the number 1 reason). Since the 3DS will have an Eshop and automatic updates will add anything that will need to be added, theres no need for a 3DSi and its just plain silly to assume that there will be a 3DS XL. The battery life on that would be like 1 hour or something.

Nintendo is going to have to work extra hard to win me over this time. I haven't truly enjoyed a nintendo console since n64.

The 1st party games aren't what they used to be. In some cases they have even butchered and destroyed them like the metroid prime games.

Get with the times give us a real online system. Give us a modern gaming system.

Wii and gamecube were fun for awhile.....but nintendo is gonna have to do a wii bit better this time....

I don't understand why people still do it. Metroid Prime (the first one, at least) really felt like Metroid. You feel forsaken in an isolated, hostile world. And if you (player) are smart enough, you turn off the damn hint system as soon as you see it the for the first time, so you will also feel lost in this planet. JUST LIKE Super Metroid. Get over it people.
