This Final Fantasy collection for sale on eBay is one of the most impressive assemblages of video game titles we've ever seen. Not only are all of the numbered Final Fantasy games brought together by this seller, but almost all of the various spinoffs and versions are included as well. From the very first Final Fantasy cartridge on Famicom up to three different versions of Final Fantasy 8 on the PC -- and even an Advent Children Cloud Black PS3 console bundle.

In short, just buying this collection could set you up as the curator of your own Final Fantasy museum, dedicated to huge swords and great battle themes from throughout the years. The price for such an honor? It's currently sitting at around $15,000, with no bids as of this writing. If that's something you want to invest in, we can only wish you good luck ... and could we borrow a buck?

If ebay could, ebay would.

Being that the seller is located in Thailand....I'd be a little afraid whether these were actual original copies of the games as opposed to being knockoffs or copies. Maybe that's just me.

Well considering you'll get $200 back in eBay bucks and it's got eBay buyer's protection. No, not worried. if they're all fake I'll get all my money back and keep the $200 ebay bucks. Only thing I'd be worried about is if my bank or CC company would let me spend $15000 at once.

While I like Final Fantasy, I don't like it that much. How bout I wait till all those games in the series gets released as down loadable games and save myself the trouble. Even with the amazing free shipping I'll pass this off like i never seen anything.

If you would buy this just to play the games, I think you're missing the point. From the looks of it, it seems these are still packaged, mostly. It's for those crazy people who buy things not because they want to use them but because they want to set up a shrine of old stuff and stare at it. That actually sounds kinda creepy.

too bad he doesn't have all the FF products. Missing Spirits Within. Terrible movie, but FF nevertheless.

That's quite tempting actually. Both the girlfriend and I are huge Final Fantasy fans and we're both after new DS Lites. And we both have great jobs.

I usually buy a new car every year too so if I keep my current one for another year that's like £20k saved right there.

I think we'll keep an eye on this.

Shipping might be alot to get to the top of your pedastal

I thought about placing a bid until I saw: "I will ship within 10 business days," and " After I am receive payment." His/her 100% positive feedback definitely hasn't convinced me. I need to see 100 plus 1 percent.

On a side note, if I had $15,000 I could definitely think of a few other things I would buy...

I love FF8 (haters gonna hate), but the PC version was an absolutely abominable port that should be destroyed and forgotten.

With that out of the way...

Money issues aside, I don't see the point of buying entire collections like this. Where's the fun in having all those sealed games if you haven't had the satisfaction of completing the collection yourself?

That game got me into the FF series, I remember playing it when I was 5. Memories....

Well, closer to $190 or so.

It's hard to justify the cost right now, but I believe games are on the path to surpass all other forms of media in terms of popularity, artistic merit, etc. Due to this, owning a good chunk of gaming history may have a very large payback value in another 30-50 years.

@vidjagamer Especially since if companies continue to have their way, we will not have boxes of anything anymore. We will all have digital titles that will completely cease to exist whenever the publisher deems we need to be buying the newest version.

Wow this guy still hasn't sold this I saw this go up on ebay over 3 months ago maybe someone stupid enough will make this guy happy but thats just not worth 15k.

To all the people saying it's too much, there's some exclusive consoles in there and multiple limited editions of games. I would say in collector's value, those would only go up and be worth more than retail.

I'd probably buy a piece of the collection, but I definitely couldn't afford the whole thing.:P I hope whoever does gets a nice display going on.

All I need is my FF II and FF III for SNES and FF VII for Playstation.
