This game is as good as they come. I can't express the amount of fun I've had with it. I'm even at a loss for words right now.

The Wii version is spectacular. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should.

@ilduce620 That's exactly why I'm interested in the Move version. I wanted to play these games before, but watching 480p content on my TV is pretty rough due to a crappy upscaler.

You know, I wasn't really interested in any of these motion control "me too" schemes, but Sony's solution is starting to make the most sense to me. Between this game and No More Heroes, it looks like they're going to put out a good number of the best third party games the Wii had to offer in HD, and frankly, that makes me excited.

Here's to hoping high def Mad World, Resident Evil Chronicles games, Trauma Center games, and Zack & Wiki get rereleases as well.

@onan Damn straight. My 32" TV looks pretty good with 480p, but 720p or higher would certainly be nice to have. Either way, it's great to get these excellent games into the hands of more people. You have a good list there, Sir.

@ilduce620 Yup. Was the only game for the Wii that I really really enjoyed and played for months. Was hoping they would just release a sequel for this on the PS3 rather than a port, but I'm guessing they're gauging interest in the 'Mature' on-the-rails shooters for the PS3 and Move before they invest in a full sequel as at least this probably doesn't cost them nearly as much money.

Hopefully a year or less after this release we'll see a proper sequel.

Admittedly the game itself isn't all that great, but the interactions between Washington and Agent G are worth a purchase alone.

looks like an Xbox 1 game :/ the game on the Wii was OK the swearing got a bit much by the end but that's the whole grind house theme for you.

Even with two brand-new scenarios, I'm not sure if it is worth re-buying. Besides, if I had this game for PS3, then my Wii would be used even less, and I didn't think that was possible.

Great. I loved the original for the Wii. Hope the move comes in a bundle or something, cause there's no way I'm going to get that.....unless you can use the analog stick for cursor aiming lol.

Haha, nice! This game is so hilariously awesome! It's too bad most people passed over it as it's a lot of fun. The Move is lacking games so hopefully this sees some success on the PS3. Buy it you, muthas!

Dead Space Extraction, No More Heroes, and Overkill were all great Wii games that sold rather terribly. I'm very happy to see them get a second chance on the PS3.

I'll skip this (I don't have any Move controllers or a PlayStation Eye; nothing has really compelled me to get them), but I loved this on the Wii, and urge anyone with a PS3 and Move controllers to pick it up, especially if you're a fan on-rail shooters and grindhouse flicks.

I'm torn: On the one hand I loved this game and wanted to see it given more attention; on the other hand I don't have and am not interested in getting a Move. More importantly, I can't help but question the logic of releasing this as a retail title rather than a downloadable game; one of the most common complaints I saw about the first game was that it was too short and simple to merit a retail price tag. I don't think adding 3D or even two new chapters will remedy that, especially if it's a peripheral-only game.

I have to laugh, simply because I coincidentally just got back into playing this game about a week ago on the Wii, mentioned Isaac Washington on the recent ANARCHY REIGNS article, and found the old pre-order comic accidentally left in a storage desk. HOTD OVERKILL is definitely worth a purchase(on either console), I highly recommend it to any and all mature (Grindhouse-loving) audiences fancying a shooting game.

The only drawback? For those who played/saw the Wii version, I really hope HD visuals/the "power of the cell" aren't applied to the last mission/ending. That would be certainly be worse than any 'sweet & sour' insult given by Papa Caesar.

LOL Yeah, *that* ending. I'm thankful they didn't actually "show" anything, but even the idea of it was pretty effed up. The quip Agent G makes afterward sold me on him & Isaac being a good videogame duo, possibly for a sequel.

Make it 15-20 bucks max on the PS3 and you have a deal. I say this because you can get it for 10 bucks new on Wii.

First Dead Space: Extraction, then No More Heroes, followed by House of the Dead. I'm just too ecstatic to see my favorite Wii titles get the PS3 treatment. If I could just get Madworld for my Move I'd be one happy camper.

Does anyone know how on-rails shooters work with Move? Is it like the Wii where it shows a reticle or is it more like the arcade(and NES, yeaaa duck hunt) light gun games, where it senses where your pointing on the tv using light.

Important note I realize that move uses a camera to sense the light bulb thing at the end of the move controller.

I guess what I'm asking is, would this feel more like a arcade light gun game or a knockoff wii on rails shooter.

I'm asking because I've played a wii on-rails shooter and it just doesn't seem right with that reticle there and it also seems delayed in relation to your movement with the controller. I like to look down the sights of the gun when I'm playing an on rails shooter not at the tv. I may as well us a joystick if I'm going to be looking at a reticle the whole time.

You can turn the aim reticle off on Wii shooters. I do all the time.

@The Aquacharger

I figured you could do that, but I feel it would still be not as responsive as a light gun, I could be wrong though, if not I guess I have been missing out haha.

I have an XBMC box and I have emulators on it, I've been thinking about getting a light gun for it to play some on-rails emulators.

oh how I wish it were socially acceptable for a 23 year old to go to arcades, I miss Time Crisis. It's just not the same without the huge screen, massive plastic gun and built in pedal.

Don't think its worth $50. They should probably consider downloadable $20 remakes of all the past ones and then go with 2-3 hour new campaigns for $10 on the Playstation Store. And make it Sharp Shooter compatible of course.

$20 may seem like low balling to some but keep in mind they will save so much more from cutting out production and distribution costs.
