I have completely lost track of where all these conferences will be watchable. I'll just google each one on the appropriate day, I guess.

@Acosta02 Check IGN.com, last year they had live 720p HD streams at all three conferences.

Didn't they do this last year or the year before? I could have sworn that they did.

Don't see the difference between watching it on your PC & on your PS3. I guess people like to watch their avatars watch TV.

It's the whole idea of being able to interact with other people that are interested in it while watching it.

it has been on Home for the past 2 years

and people watch it on Home because it also doubles up as a live chat with fellow PS3 gamers, also, quincy

But couldn't they just do a webchat then watch it on TV together or something. I guess convenience is the main reason behind it.

It's quite obvious really, people want to stand in a circle and do the robot while watching it.

Look, I love my PS3 and PSP very much and am eager to hear what new things are on the horizon from Sony. But there is no way in hell I'm watching a 5 hour press conference, I don't care THAT much about games.

I'm with you on that one. I will just let Joystiq waste their 5+ hours watching it and wait for their condensed summary of it that I can read in 30 seconds.

@JAK33 Ah. Well the article lists it as a 5 hour press conference, which does seem unlikely. But all I had to go with was the information provided here.

Lol, I don't think the actual presentation is 5 hours long, unless its:

1st Hour: Apologising for PSN downtime and rewards for waiting
2nd Hour: Talking about the good news
3rd Hour: PS Vita and the future of PSP
4th Hour: PS Move, 3D, new PS features etc
5th Hour: Hordes of trailers for new IPs and existing ones yet to release
(Possibly agent, possibly Versus, possibly FF14, possibly exclusive content, possibly The Last Guardian)

I liked the Re-Creation of Sony's booth on PS Home last year and i will be visiting it in Home again this year too. I think we got one demo last year from E3 but it wasn't something I was interested in I hope we get more demo's this year from E3 : )

@MLC

same with me, i looked on my TV schedule and Monday it says 4-6 E3 Live 2011 then i think it goes to Ubisoft pre-conference then Ubisoft Conference for a Hour and a Half then post Ubisoft then pre Sony conference then Sony Conference for A Hour and A Half then it goes too Post Sony Conference and then some TV Show.

I would watch 5 Hours of Sony's Press Conference as i find it alot of fun to listen to them speak about stuff and if something is boring i'll go do something till the part is over but A Hour and A Half is better then no conference.
