Here's a core game everyone is clamoring for. I'm so looking forward to it. Don't understand the Kinect hate from the gaming community.

@ItsameMatt03 Kinect has it's place, but Microsoft seem to have taken a Kinect shaped crowbar to all of it's decent franchises. I'm trying not be down on it, I own one (admittedly bought on a whim which I'm sort of regretting), and I thought they might have come up with something for the core gamers.
What I don't want is them taking the games that were core, and making everyone playing them look completely insane, without any real gameplay benefits over a controller. I also don't want on-rails games. The speech recognition and the wii too stuff I understand because it's a gimmick they can sell and expand the audience, but it's not for me.
If this is what they've come up with after a year, I'm lowering any expectations for Kinect from now on, not that they were high to be honest. That wouldn't be a problem but for Microsoft obviously putting everything into Kinect and sequels. As for Ryse, I couldn't help thinking of the hype for Red Steel on Wii before it's release when I saw the trailer.

Only Kinect related thing that looks any good at this point....and even that might be an effect of not seeing very much of it. Remains to be seen how it works in practice though, so I'm filing this one in the "might be cool" category.

OK, the font on that logo totally reminds me of "Rise of the Triad"

This looked cool. Definitely not for the kiddies. Give me the ability to crossbow someone and I'm in.

This game got potential but it going to need to be on point with the motion control when it comes to combat.

And that's a bad thing? PC gamers holding that shit over our heads about how Crysis 1 couldn't run on consoles is why I can't stand PC elitism.
