BloodRayne: Betrayal cuts up PSN, XBLA in early August
22
BloodRayne: Betrayal will eviscerate PSN and XBLA during the first weeks of August, representatives for Majesco told us at E3. We had specific dates for both consoles, but neither fit the standard release day schedule for a digitally distributed title and reps changed the date to "early August." It will cost $15 (1200 MSP).
Developer WayForward has completely reinvented the concept of BloodRayne for the better, saying that Majesco pretty much gave them carte blanche to make the license their own. If you've never heard of BloodRayne, this is a great arcade slasher introduction. If you've heard of BloodRayne, forget what you know. If you enjoyed BloodRayne before, sorry.

I thoroughly enjoyed Shank on normal difficulty and playing co-op. I was more than willing to play through again on hard until I realized that any death results in restarting the level (including cheap "gotcha kills" when knocked off an edge).
I actively avoided the Bloodrayne games before, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.

$15 ≠ 800 MSP
Is it $15/1200 points, or $10/800 points?
Confusion is at hand, Joystiq!!

Because it deftly combines such poignant elements like Nazism, Vampirism and Feminism into a transcendental, revelatory experience that forces the player to re-evaluate their self-image, and the role they play in their own society.
Not to mention that the vampire bitch's titties are f*cking huuuuuuuge.

"It will cost $15 (800 MSP)." --> $15 = 1200 MSP
Not sure if I'd go for this at $15. Especially with this releasing around the same time as titles like FROM DUST and INSANELY TWISTED SHADOW PLANET.

E for Extra Gore
Or Extra Boobs.
Wait... that didn't sound right...
Hell, I'd still hit it.

WayForward is the DS developer everyone likes, right? So this could be alright.

Buying this day one. Super excited for an HD Strider Castlevania: Vandal Hearts Blood Spurting XXX: The Movie: The Ride.
Note: I could care less that it's connected to Bloodrayne.

This really did give me the feeling of an HD Castlevania. It may not have the exploration but it does look fun. Between this and Dragon Crown I'm really happy.
