'Flare Red' 3DS coming to Japan

begins. Less than four months after the release of the Japanese 3DS, Nintendo has announced the first color variation -- and it's a familiar one. In an attempt to "invigorate the market in Japan" (seriously, that's what the press release says), Nintendo will release a "Flare Red" 3DS. It's essentially the
red 3DS shown off in press materials around E3 2010!
In addition, on June 23, Nintendo of Japan will introduce new Wii bundles packaged with
Wii Sports Resort, one console Wii Remote Plus in the color of the console and one blue Wii Remote Plus. The market-invigorating bundle will retail for ¥20,000 ($250).
