If I could direct a commercial for this game I would have a kid going to the doctor for an itch worried that he might have an std. when the doctor checks his groin with a magnifying glass to see what the problem might be, I'd then show video clips from this trailer inside the magnifying glass. Then the doctor would look at the camera and say "Jeez, this is worst than I thought" "rated T for teen". It would be epic!

hmmm. well- i have to respect them for finally giving us some meaningful gameplay footage. hopefully this game controls better than it looks. as of now- it's looking kind of like a goof-ball resident evil/dead space kind of game. which could be cool as long as the controls aren't a pain in the ass. Survival horror games increase the tension by making the controls a little tricky- but this game seems like it's trying to be kind of an action game- and it looks a lot more fast-paced than most survival horror games. i like the look of that bird boss- but without a demo, i'm still not sold (even though i'm a huge fan of Mikami and Suda51/grasshopper). guess i'll be waiting for all the reviews to come in.

Damn. I was keeping an eye on this game since it appeared in Game Informer, but after seeing how dated the gameplay looks, and how campy and immature the dialog is I'm totally not optimistic about it anymore. I'll reserve final judgement till the reviews start coming out.

Don't understand why people are singling this game out, when we have had two RE and Dead Space games do the same thing, and this looks better than all four of those games.

Have to disagree with you there. The graphics look dated, in my opinion, compared to RE5 and Dead Space. Also, the 'shoot the giant red spot on the boss' mechanic is definitely getting stale. We've been doing that since Ocarina of Time. Based on this video, something just seems "off" or dated with the gameplay.
I don't recall any weapons in RE or Dead Space being called "The Big Boner" either. I know Suda 51 is off his rocker when it comes to game development, but I didn't realize he had the mentality of a prepubescent who's finally seen breasts for the first time. At least that's what the characters in his games have been portraying lately.

Based on the gameplay footage we have seen i dont think this bodes well for this title. Plainly put it looks like Sh#t. I dont see anything in the demo that leads me to believe that it will be enjoyable. Then again its only a brief demo, with horrible graphics added in for insult.
