Like the music. I have a feeling I would fall asleep trying to play this.

@Dance Mofo 6955. He was doing the music for Fez, but was mysteriously replaced by Disasterpeace. Then he showed up on this game.

I haven't played frequency, but this game reminds me of it. I might have thought it was a sequel to Frequency if I hadn't saw the title.

I played the really early beta of this at Fan Expo last year! It was a lot of fun. It was on a PC, though. The developer's wife was explaining the concept to me; in the later levels you travel so fast that time is warping around you and you can't even tell if you're going forward or backward. Really mind blowing. I hope it comes out for PC!

@Faceless Troll
He mentioned Wipeout as one of his favourite racing games when he announced it on the PS blog

Seems like same feel as Rez, which isn't a bad thing.

What was the 90s game with a similar flying perspective? Similar to Life Force, but stuff came at you from the center of the screen. Seemed like every arcade had it.

@ValiantEffort I believe you're thinking of Tempest.

Rez and frequency = 2 Top class games, this looks as though it may be within the same realm

It's interesting. I wonder if there was a way to have a game that didn't have a tunnel affect. We always associate progress by moving forward or through something. If we could play with that, I'd definitely be interested in the results.

So it's audiosurf, but in a tunnel. I guess?

Looks like a bizarre combination of Tempest, STUN Runner, and Gravitar (oddly enough, all Atari games). Intriguing.
