@BlueTights You haven't even seen it yet. You can't judge it. Plus, the studio hasn't even made a title yet so they can't be judged.

Atleast they're not trying to split it up and do a shitty job on the new game...

What? How...I don't even...
Can we just slow down a little bit? I'm still recovering from the media overload of MW3.....
I hate everything.

I'm interested to see how Call Of Duty can translate into an action adventure game. Stranger things have happened in the past

It will be a cover based 3rd person shooter called "Call of Duty: Military Soldier."

There will be a lot of canned/QTE based climbing and stealth segments (because everything in CoD is a canned quick time event thing).

Nothing with the words "Call" or "of" or "Duty" is dead at this juncture.

Jesus will be ordering tacos before this series comes to a close.

@Swifter

actually, they're not. glen schofield was the head of EA redwood and the creative director behind the first dead space (which might explain why it's so much better than the second). you can actually see a picture of him in chapter 6 when you make your way to the grow rooms. he's the astronaut farmer guy. michael condrey also left what was at the time EA redwood, but later became and is still known as visceral. to my knowledge, most of the original studio that made the first is still with visceral.

since dead space was glen schofield's brainchild and i love that game so much, i'm willing to give whatever he is behind a chance, even if it is just another call of duty.

@Liquidfingers That's informative, thanks.

I liked DS2 myself, but not quite as much as the first one. Something just felt a bit "off". Especially the "invincible hunter" part which was just a lame copy of the original and the Nicole parts that were just plain silly and the last boss which was absolute rubbish.

I hope Schofield returns to Visceral for DS3, even though I know it's not likely...

@Pure Black World Tendency

isaac's bad dialogue in the second really ruined the experience for me. the first also felt a lot scarier than the second....but maybe that just has to do with the fact that the second dead space didn't feel as fresh, and the "holy shit" factor of the necromorphs was all but gone. i view the first dead space as a true survival-horror game, while the second is merely an action game with a few cheap scares.

I presume the email went something like this:

Dear Sledgehammer Games,

Stop working on whatever you're doing, and finish MW3. Otherwise, we'll kill you.

Thanks!

I would be willing to give it a try. I have been growing a bit tired of Call of Duty the last couple years, ready for a fresh perspective.

Ghost is dead, just like Gaz died in the first MW...funny enough, they were voiced by the same actor. Maybe he'll keep the gag running and show up in MW3 as "Corpse"

Ugh.. Is your FPS milk starting to spoil or something.. What happens when they milk they action adventure genre dry to a crispy prune-like substance?
