A few shots of the Silent Hill: Revelation movie set
27
A handful of new photos have been posted on the Silent Hill: Revelation Facebook page. The pics don't offer a great deal of new information on the film, though we do get to see a bit of Silent Hill's traditional ashen/snow-covered wastes. We also get our first peek at Carrie-Anne Moss, who's looking awfully pale. Oh, and the nurses! Let's not forget the nurses ... as if our tortured psyche could ever let them go.

RE Revelations, SH Revelation... you know they're running out of big words to put in titles when two of the most famous horror franchises get the same subtitle.
The first SH movie was actually not bad at all. Just had too many people in it. I'm cautiously optimistic about this sequel.

Funny fact was that the studio that finally decided to fund them, forced the people to make the husband a major character. Hence the awkward additional scenes of him rummaging around and about. They were afraid a female-heavy main cast wouldn't sell nearly as well as a female-heavy main cast +1 male.

Argh! Too many spammers in the comments now. Anyway, looking forward to this movie. The first one was not bad at all. So, if you're looking for a game to movie adaptation you can safely add the first silent hill. hehe.

How about saying "I didn't like Silent Hill." instead of being a hard, throbbing penis about it. Some people liked the movie. People like you really piss me off.

They definitely took some creative freedoms, but overall as a fan of the series, I wasn't disappointed by the movie.
An insane cult hell-bent on sacrificing children that are "different" as a way of staving off the apocalypse, landing them eventually within a realm of nightmare based upon the Psyche of the only survivor of their crimes, a child burned and scarred in such a horrific manner that even the entire town is safe from her twisted search for vengeance.
Hell, Homecoming had a similar basis, and they took their stylings of the "Silent Hill" version of the town from the movie, so I wouldn't be surprised if they borrowed more than that from it.

I've never played the games and I loved the first movie. I actually watched it a couple times. I'm very pleased that they are making a second movie.
