Not sure if I should get this or not? Worth picking up after slow summer releases or wait for gears?

When is the street date so I can just sleep until the game hits shelves?
side note: I want that artbook as well.

@MSKiller aka Sony4life...I believe the release date is Sep. 6, so you can get a quality 57-day nap in if you so desire. Digital artbook looks pretty nifty, but I'm hearing mixed results about this game

Jessica, yesterday your post about Kinect turning into a walk in closet claimed the spot of creepiest Joystiq post.
You really outdid yourself with the horrific imagery you burned into my mind with this post. Congratulations

@ColdHeat
Exactly. I'd take $10 or $20 in pre order credit over a digital artbook any day.

If it's digital, then it's not really a book

@esbeekay I think they mean a book of digital art, not a digital art book if you know what I mean...

Hmm, I'm tempted from what I've seen of the game, but I dont want it to be another L4D or Dead Rising

It actually looks like it could be a zombie mode in Fallout 3 or NV.
Still looks refreshingly simple enough to enjoy some zombie slashing!

This game does look fun, but I don't want to get a carbon copy of a game I already own. I wasn't super-impressed by the gameplay, so I'll just play it by ear on this one.

This is a digital art book, meaning most gaming blogs will end up having the imagery after a few weeks...no thanks, digi art books aren't an incentive (as neither art crappy mini art books).
This game worries me solely because the developer is kind of meh.
