@Sailorjeff Doubtful, considering Super Skrull was specifically put in the game to cover the FF's powers.

Oh and please Capcom don't appease the complainers... don't nerf Phoenix and don't nerf X-Factor just because a bunch of people get salty because they can't cope with Phoenix and they don't like level 3 X-Factor. Phoenix eats damage like a $2 whore and X-Factor is still a great idea (IMHO) that can change the tide of a match in an instant. When someone's down to 1 character they should be able to pull out some ridiculous damaging stuff and eek out a win.

Not really that, it's the fact that gamers are too lazy to figure out strategies on their own or come up with their own ideas to beat a specific strategy or point of abuse.

People complained about Sentinel having too much health; Capcom nerfed it in a patch. Can't really say I agree with it, but his damage is quite high so I guess in some capacity it breaks even.

The amount of people whining about X-Factor (specifically level 3) and the amount of whining about Phoenix (specifically Dark Phoenix, even moreso WITH level 3 XF).....basically I just hope Capcom leaves the game alone as it is.

The only thing that should be patched out of MvC3 at this point is the DHC glitch; they've patched out pretty much everything else. I'm happy with the game as it is; I think it's a solid fighting game and arguably the best Vs. title. There is no God tier, anyone can win on any day with pretty much everyone in the game. Thank God there's no more "pick Cable/Sentinel/Doom/Storm OR LOSE" BS going on. That being said - I do wish there were more characters, but that's my only gripe about MvC3 (other than the lack of spectating in multiplayer but that doesn't really bother me because I only do ranked/player matches anyway and I don't go into lobby matches).

Forgot to say ~ re: Phoenix/DP
She's very easy to beat (especially if you have XF yourself). Being that DP constantly drains health, if she has no XF her only option is Healing Field. If you have any character with any airborne moves or even flight, you can stay away from her and let her widdle herself down to 1 pixel and then chip damage her to death.

If you're fighting a Phoenix with a level 5 and no teammates left, run away from her. Chip her down and then let time expire.

re: XF....use your own XF or run away. Again ~ easy stuff.

Shut up with so many multiple post, and what the f is up with all those Street Fighter characters on Capcom's side?! Megaman X, Strider and Leon Kennedy are a must before any other Street Fighters!

And "what the f is up with all those SF chars" eh buddy what else has Capcom done, eh? Leon? Why? The game already has Jill, Wesker, and Chris. Sure, throw Leon in there, I'm sure his moveset will be SO DIFFERENT from Chris'. [rolleyes] I know, his assist can be ASHLEY and she can infuriate the opponent with her grating, annoying voice.

Strider? Everyone and their grandma wants Strider, I think that goes without saying. I could care less about Strider since there's enough characters in the game with teleports and swords to pair with Doom rocks.

Megaman X? Why X? Why not regular MM? MM was useless in MvC and MvC2 but by all means don't play Zero (who is 10x better than MM), instead go ahead and throw Leaf Shields and Soccer Balls all day and see how long you last against the rest of the MvC3 cast.

Out of all the SF characters I listed, 6 of the 7 have never been in a Vs. game before (I'm not counting CvS, SvC, or Fighting All-Stars). In case you don't realize - Jedah and Donovan are Darkstalkers, Jin is Cyberbots. Please, pick another Capcom franchise to pull characters from though. What's left exactly? Power Stone? I'd be *for* a Power Stone character or two. From what I've heard, Capcom lost the rights to the JoJo characters, so they can't do those.
