The person that created that website sounds a lot like the people that comment on mw3 and bf3 posts. Just re-read it and you'll see what I'm talking about. And what the crap are you talking about get your domains early? It sounds like some little kid saying, "Finders keepers losers weepers".

Funny reading all the COD hate in here. Were talking about EA the most hated people in the video game market. End of story....

All sorts of companies register domains for products, businesses, and services that may never exist, just because they may need those domains in the future. This isn't me being anti-Activision or pro BF3, it's business through and through. If I were Activision I would have registered through MW6 by now.

Uh, actually Activision has taken over as the most hated name in the game industry. EA isn't as bad as they used to be, and no where near as bad as Activision has become.

No doubt, it's not as if there was a question in anyone's mind (especially Activision's) that a 3rd MW would be made, it was just a matter of when. It's a pretty childish reaction as well. Do they really think anyone is going to defect from MW3 to BF3 just because of that site? Learn how to take a joke Activision. You failed to secure the domain name, deal with it. Though it probably is cheaper for them to take this guy to court rather than buy him out. I have to imagine they have lawyers on retainer or just have them on salary for stuff like this.

Which you have ot give EA. They realise people love DICE. So they don't mess with DICE. They give them aslong as they need to make a game and the funding then let them fly.

I would love MW3 if they did not lie directly in my face about how MW3 is better then MW2, and 60 Dollars? They wont 60 Dollars for this game. Come ON! We are all players. If Activision truly cared about it brand and loyalty of it players it would reduce it price to 30 Dollars. they would sell more and loose nothing. NOTHING. I would buy your game for 30 Dollars and say that this game is the best for the price, but 60? it just tells me We have no love to no one, we just want our money back and more.

@Aperture Battlefield 2 is from 2005 and never played it, it is real that realistic?
Because BFBC2 was a bad joke, but as I understand that's a very different type of game right?

Funny you say that, because that's how i felt about the entire call of duty series after playing BC2.
I was always a COD player, so you really don't know what you are missing until you go out of the box and try something new.
You probably tried bad company, sucked at it and quit like the rest of the cod fanboys.

Bottom line, all the call of duties are the same game with different maps.
Everyone plays team games, but it's really just every man for themselves.
BC2 has real teamwork, and it's a beautiful thing that the game is based on more than just your kill count.
If activision doesn't come out with a game with a destructable enviornment, they can forget about getting my money ever again.
I just can't go back to the stagnant no interactive maps.
Bad company 2 is a game with strategy

Weaksauce Activision. Total weaksauce. Any hope of getting my dollar just went right out the window.

@roromx BFBC2 is a spinoff that moved away from the roots quite a bit. The old Bf2 (you can try the demo, it's still kicking, 1 map, usually a server that's full, 64 players), is very different. It's an older shooter, the hitreg was about equal to BFBC2 on console i'd say. But that was when I played back in 05-07, had a terrible internet back then, usually pinging ~170 or so. It's more large scale, travel time is a bigger part of the game, sneaking is a much much more valid tactic. And the commander adds diversity to every battle.

I feel that BF3 won't be as good though, since they havn't made any statement about the commander to my knowledge.

But it's a game you have to try, the demo is ~1.6gigabytes if i recall correctly, it should download quickly if you do it from gamershell, and regardless of what PC you have you should be running it atleast decently since it's so old.

Battlefield Bad company wasn't a bad game series by any means, it's just very different from the original series.

Bunnyjumping was fixed though, that's a huge problem in Battlefield 2. Amazingly people didn't catch onto how crazy it was until the game started dying more and more, and it did impact aim quite severely, but in any close quaters combat situation it's the perfect defence.

You have a really good point. Why are people complaining about CoD fanboys so they buy BF3? Doesn't that make them Battlefield fanboys? Either way, the 2 games are completely different, CoD is a fast-paced game to just mess around and have good fun. Battlefield is a more realistic, massive type of FPS. Just quit getting mad because people arent buying the same game as you.

both are pretty played out, DNF might have been teh freshest FPS multiplayer in years

LOLOLOLOLOL i love BF as much as the next guy but dont make this game sound like something is not... it is NOT REALISTIC, at all, in any sense. Its just different in the way its a large scale combat game. There is nothing relaistic about Medic reviving people or having unlimited ammo, or snipers not being able to go prone.

so please don't add to the fanboysim that the guy was talking about. be... um... realistic

@FriedConsole They are not even close to being the same game. Same as in modern day military warfare...but it ends there.

Battlefield BC2 has vehicles you can use whereas MW2 you are just infantry running around....more like Quake 3 compared to Battlefield 1942.

It has been this way for a while. Around the time battlefield bad company 2 came out is when it started.

I also like both games for different aspects. I like COD for zombies (please be in mw3) & the campaign but I much prefer BF for regular multiplayer.
